The Maze Runner Series

Recently, I've been reading The Maze Runner Series. Now, I'm reading the second book The Scorch Trials.

While I've been reading the first book, The Maze Runner, I received a spoiler that my favorite character, Newt, will die in the third book. On the page of 250, to be exact. I was suddenly scared of reading the third book, but I feel compelled to finish the whole series to respect the series and to fulfill my curiosity surrounding the book. So, I decided to take a peek on the page 250, when Newt is shot. I read it and slammed the book.

I felt sad that time. His death is tragic. I've never been so attached to a character before until now. I think the only way to 'ressurect' the character is by re-reading the series from the first book. I was like:

At the same time, his death makes the readers (who like him) realize how much they love him. He is one of the best characters in the book beside Minho. I'm sure, after I have finished the whole series, I believe that he remains the most unforgotable character I've ever known. Damn, James Dashner, you slayed him.

By the way, who have read the series? Tell me what's your opinion.

I've read the Maze Runner trilogy! And TBH Newt was also my fav character, well y'know after Minho because he's perf, but to be honest the reason why I even finished the trilogy was because I needed to know what happened in the end. For one, spoilers... I think... the end of the book didn't really answer any of my questions plus the fact that James Dashner's writing styles wasn't the great. I actually hated this trilogy but it was great overall... I just didn't like it... plus the way Newt died made me cry and was like, "WHY MY BABY NEWT!" and yeah
