So.

There's this stupid little singing competition in our school called the "CHS Idol".

Stupid as in I don't trust the judges' opinions and standards.

Because during my first year in the school I was kicked out of the second round, a.k.a the quarterfinals. Apparently I had been told that I've had a rather "wrong" expression when I sang, the song was supposed to be rather "lively".
Okay I accept my failure.

But then the next year I was eliminated during the semis for the same reason.
Apparently Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound" was supposed to be a lively song too.

So then I thought that the judges have never written fan-fictions.

But anyway

I surprisingly entered the GRAND FINALS THIS YEAR!

I didn't expect to qualify, actually. And yes this time I doubt the judges too. Because one of them seems to have been in a Taeyang fever (I sang Eyes, Nose, Lips, you see.)

Kind of dumb though. Not just that, but that the R&R's specified that no other languages than the ones we learn in Malaysia *ahem* not even Korean *ahem* were allowed. I was so frustrated because I don't even listen to any other that K-pop so I kind of mashed up Lydia and Eric's lyrics. Since... Lydia's was from a girl's perspective but then it kind of sounded awkward at the chorus since it was repetitive...

But then... *deep breath*

Now I just have to worry two things (other than the stupid exam on Monday... what kind of education makes you memorise definitions of moral values... ㄱ_ㄱ)

We are required to sing a small part of whatever song we choose and it will be uploaded onto the website's Facebook page since we're nominees for the Students' Choice Awards. (More like "Nominees' Popularity Award, actually)

What song should I choose for that, and the finals? I need Korean songs with decent English lyrics because the language/genre of the song really makes a drastic difference in my voice, which I obviously sound better when I sing Korean eheheheheheheheh

Thought of Come Back Home but then no ing raps either so screw them what do they mean by CHS Idol more like CHS Singers lul

Oh well if they allowed rap I wouldn't go for easy ones like CBH either, more like BORN HATEH.

So yeah I'm still having a headache so I hope you guys could help me out in... YEAH :)
