Craft #19: Brunere's bracelet; and the story behind Keeper's long time goal of making polymer clay chibis

Brunere is also an original character in Stolen Heir by kaotic312. And she has violet eyes. In the next chapter, which I hope will be uploaded soon, she will finally spend some time with Bofur. (GO BOFUR, you can do this!). So I imagined that this bracelet would go with her second best dress, which she will wear on their date (haha).

Brunere's bracelet is a combination of the Elenlote bloom and the celtic knot. Basically, I made the Elenlote pattern in four pegs, instead of five.

Looks similar to Erelinde's bracelet ^^; (maybe I'll try again haha!)

Story-telling time!

Years ago, Keeper joined a writing contest here in AFF. And the first prize is a polymer clay charm chibi of the winner's favorite kpop group. It was the first time I saw a polymer clay chibi and I was desperate for one. I checked out the shop where the contest organizer will order the chibi, not knowing that I would spend an hour or two staring at the chibis.

I could just order online OR I could make my own. (Or win the contest; but until now, the winner hasn't been declared lol).

There's something about me and the need to create as you may have noticed by now.

There are lots of polymer clay chibi tutorials in youtube (you can learn anything online), and my plan was to make Super Junior chibis. ALL 15.

But life happened and I kept my polymer clay set inside my storage case... never to be seen again...

Until at the end of 2014, I decided that things should change this 2015. All those things that I put off doing will be accomplished. As a result, I flooded you with posts about my crafts since January WAHAHA (Maybe I just needed the space)

Unfortunately, I am not much into kpop these days. All I could think of is that I want to make Kili and Tauriel chibis. Maybe some other cute characters like Mokona and Totoro and floral bracelets :3 Pastries, too!

But maybe I'll make my SJ set, especially when this video got uploaded today:

(she made nine chibis but only eight fit in her bracelet)

I am not touching my polymer clay until I purchase nitrile, powder-less gloves tomorrow. I spent so much time making sure no dirt or fiber got into my clay instead of making more clay sculptures >_<

My sister didn't like my gift ^^ Or maybe she's just so much like my mother. She didn't even look at it. She merely said: "Ilagay mo dyan." (Put it there.) At least dad showed some interest, and asked what it was made from. HAHA.

Oh well... I tried ^^ AND... no more personalized gifts from moi. She likes it store-bought, I guess.
