Hi everyone!

So like lately I've been really down in the dumps. I've been feeling like my stories aren't that good. I recently found this fic that's like 62 chapters long, has so many views and comments and subscribers and upvotes and I sit here looking at mine and wonder what it is I'm doing that I don't get that much attention. Like I put my heart and soul into the fics that I write and I get so little notificaitons for them. I'm not saying I want my stories to be featured or that I think my fics are better than anyone elses, I just want to know how do I get more views, more comments and subscribers. Like what do people want to read? What pairings? What groups? What genre?

I get that many people are silent readers and that for oneshots many people won't subscribe, but you should. Like I don't know the ratio of readers to writers, but I feel like there are more readers than there are writers. And as a writer I know like the wonderful an author gets when they see they have more subscribers, or when they get a lot of comments or ever an upvote. It's an amazing feeling because it lets us know that people actually like reading our stories.

I've figured out that a person can click the story, read maybe a few lines and figure out this story isn't for them and leave. But that view still stays. So the view count really isn't a good way to get an accurate read of how well readers like the story. And I'm not the type of person that will force readers to subscribe to stories. I've found that some times can start of really good in like the first few paragraphs, but in later paragraphs, after I've subscribed, I realize that the story isn't one that like or something like that and I feel like I got tricked into subscribing to something I don't like and I don't think that's fair because I know once someone unsubscribes, the author feels bad.

So...once again, my question is what do you guys like to read? What do you want to see me write?

And as an author, I ask for you humbly to take a few seconds of your day and to subscribe to my stories or leave a small comment, anything so I know that you like what I'm writing, because all I want is to make all my subscribers and friends and readers happy with what I write!
