Hey everyone, this is going to be a quick post (I always say this and I'm only ever half right). So a few people have been messaging me about rumors going around of Asianfanfics closing and I tended to just put off addressing it because 1) there are no foundations to those rumors and I've never even hinted at it and 2) new AFF features are being introduced at a regular pace so I figured people would realize that it would be strange for a site to bother doing that if it was just going to shut down. I had hoped that these rumors would just die down on their own.

Anyway, I'm writing this post to put that rumor down and bury it once and for all: as long as even just one of you continue to use this site, it will stay up. If at some point the site is inaccessible, it's because a server is down somewhere, not because we've been shut down. Even in the event that I'll no longer be the steward of Asianfanfics, I'll make sure to hand it off to someone who'll know how to take care of it.

I started this site for a few writers that I knew and cared about nearly six years ago. Although I didn't really know anything about fiction writing or fandoms (or anything entertainment-related for that matter), all I went on was that I wanted to make a community for them. If any of you reading this know anything more about me, it goes even deeper than that. If so, you'd know there is no way I'd let Asianfanfics go down.
