Magic met K-pop when Harry Potter himself, or at least his actor, met a former member of one of Korea's top girl groups.

Jessica Jung, a former member of SM Entertainment's popular group Girls' Generation, was spotted in Macau at a birthday party, where she took a photo with several people including British actor Daniel Radcliffe. Radcliffe, the star of the Harry Potter film franchise and appearing in the upcoming film Victor Frankenstein as Igor, and Jung attended the birthday party of Reggie Martin, a celebrity relations specialist .

On March 13, the two stars were spotted among a large group in a picture with Martin at his birthday party in Macau. Chinese language media highlighted the meeting of a top Korean star with a top Hollywood star.

Tyler Kwon, Jung's alleged boyfriend, was also in the group photo.

The former Girls' Generation member, known in South Korea primarily by her first name Jessica, previously confirmed that she will pursue an acting career, leading to possibilities about her appearing alongside Radcliffe.

Along with the group photo, Martin posted a video with Jessica.

Along with acting, Jessica is also planning to make her debut as a solo singer. She left Girls' Generation shortly after introducing her fashion line, Blanc & Eclare, due to a conflict of interest between SM Entertainment, Girls' Generation, and Jessica's personal interests.

Radcliffe's film Victor Frankenstein will be released in October 2015.
