FASHION STYLE — Feminine clothing with a male edge to it (think men's shirts with skirts or boyfriend jeans with a cami and cardigan). She likes to wear a lot of the basics like skinny jeans and white tees. Her favourite store to shop at is H&M. She ultimately values comfort over style because she's always on the move and hence loves the basics. Her style icon would be someone like Victoria Beckham, who can take just skinny jeans and a pair of heels and make them into a WOW outfit.

PERSONALITY —
She has a disposition that is a walking contradition; a combination of VIXX's Leo and N - quiet and respectful but passionate and fiery (well, maybe not so much Leo in that case). She prefers solitary activities to group ones and admits to being overwhelmed by her group at times. Even though she is the youngest in her family, she play a bit of the big sister role because she's one of the more responsible members, and is sometimes given a hard time for being a "stick in the mud" for it, but can still laugh it off and take it all in stride. She is a very physically active person and loves to dance or play soccer, especially with her brother when he visits. She's used to rough-and-tumble play, and as such is not afraid to step up and be physical if something isn't right, even if it gets her in trouble. She is often judged harshly for having such an athletic body build instead of the lithe bodies of my fellow idols/trainees, which is a hard pill to swallow and sometimes throws fits about it (and did get into one fight about it, see below), but again does her best to just remain positive and be grateful for the body she has and all it allows me to do.
BACKGROUND — She and her almost-identical twin sister Xing were born in Sunxui to a Korean father and Chinese mother (she is older by seven minutes). They have an older brother named Xiao by three years. They all have celestial names, someting our parents did on purpose to help us with our future and prosperity. When she was ten they moved to Korea to be with my mother's family, who were in poor health at the time. It was also more beneficial for her father, who was doing a lot of business in Incheon and Seoul anyway. Little did they know that he was involved in insider trading and was arrested when she was twelve and sentenced to twenty years in prison, where he still is today. During that time she began to get into a lot of physical fights at school because of her situation at home, nearly causing her to be expelled. As a distraction her mother enrolled her in a singing class, where she developed an intense love for performing, which provided a safe outlet for her to distract herself from the realities of her father. She also won several local competitions because of it. However, she struggled a lot academically, and is not the brightest bulb in the pack, which makes her extremely self-consious of how she is represented. As such, she doesn't talk much because she doesn't want to appear as an airhead, but when she does speak it's because she has something fiery to say due to her intensity (this is also why she physically fights back instead of verbally). Despite that, when she was 13 she was scouted by SM Entertainment and begged her mother to let her sign to a contract. She agreed, only because it would mean she would be distracted from her family's financial and personal issues. She was signed as a singer/dancer trainee alongside the likes of Victoria and Amber. She was initially supposed to debut with the group f(x), but her several run-ins with current member Krystal had her leaving for Jellyfish Entertianment, where she continued training and is now set to debut as part of Global Girls.

FAMILY —
— Twin sister Xing and elder brother Xiao. Xing is older by seven minutes and her best friend in the entire world and she trusts her with her life. She is, in every sense of the phrase, her other half. They are so close they finish each others's sentences just like in the movies. There is some rivalry between the two, as Xing has always excelled academically and had a leaner, lithe build whereas Xiah has been more athletic and artistically minded, with each twin being jealous of the other's talents. The tension between the two is almost always fleeting and the two reconcile quickly as if nothing ever happened. She is very close to her brother Xiao, in part because of their athletic passions and loves to just kick it with a guy. Her main reason behind their closeness is that he became the father figure in her life after her real father was imprisoned, and it took a toll on Xiao. Xiah was the only one who noticed this taxation and became his greatest supporter ever since and is thus closer with her brother than her sister or even her mom. She is very close with her mom as well, especially after her father was imprisoned. She sees her mom as her role model and states so in every interview for exemplifying how a strong woman can and should be for having to endure public ridicule and humiliation. She has no contact with her father and refuses to speak with him after lying to her family and causing so much grief to her mom and rest of her family, although she does not regret his imprisonment happening because she believes everything happens for a reason, and in this case it was to bring the rest of her family closer.
BEST OF BEST FRIENDS
FRIENDS —
— Victoria from f(x) (former trainees together). She is her "adopted big sister" whom she loves and trusts the most as a confidante. They had many shared bonding experiences at SM and Victoria was the one who helped her through her body image struggles the most as a trainee there. She serves as Xing's "replacement" when idol life takes over. Both of them shared similar strife as being "outsiders" and were each other's support systems when the other was struggling with trainee life, homesickness, etc. Victoria is the only person outside of her family she has opened up to about her father, signalling her trust.
— Jia from MissA. She is another "big sister" whom she met through Victoria. She turns to Jia when she needs to blow off some steam and just have some fun. These two enjoy going out and enjoying each other's company on the town (or going to the company gym and getting some anger out by boxing). This is a more casual relationship than the one with Victoria; they're close and will talk about guys and gossip, but not close enough to talk about more personal matters.

INTERACTIONS — They met backstage at a rehearsal for the SBS Gayo Daejun when she was still a trainee. They were both equally impressed by each other singing and dance abilities and were (very awkwardly) introduced to each other by Jimin and V (who called themselves Cupid). Since he was already an idol (and a few years younger) and she was still a trainee, they didn't have much time to meet in person, but they did text and talk on the phone regularly and even video chat, getting to know each other better despite the distance. He's able to keep her youthful and keep her from being too seriouus or quiet and lets her inner kid come out to play, much like her siblings do for too.

PERSONALITY — Ice princess, diva and a bit conceited
INTERACTIONS — Krystal was already a trainee when she arrived at SM Entertainment and had been for years alongside her sister. She were the new meat, Krystal was the reigning kid prodigy, and that didn't sit well with her. She would often challenge Xiah to vocal or dance battles (which went either way) and would always remind Xiah that she had "horse thighs" compared to her much more desirable "honey thighs" and that Xiah would never debut because of your image. She's right - Xiah didn't debut, at least not under SM Enteratinment. The bullying started going both ways; she would taunt Xiah mercilessly, Xiah would spit in her food. Things went on like this for a while unnoticed but eventually got so bad that Xiah actually had an started an altercation with her (hair pulling, clawing, ripping clothes) that was the straw that broke the camels back and facilitated Xiah's departure from SM. Xiah parted ways with the company and you thought that would be the last you saw of her until Xiah began running into her as a trainee/backup dancer for Got7 under her new lable at show rehearsals, and before she knew it the rivalry began again.

TRAINEE YEARS — Trainee at SM for 4 years before transferring to JYP for one year.
TRAINEE LIFE — Her trainee life was filled with ups and downs. She only had to train for a year at JYP before being selected for debut, which made her enemies with a handful of other trainees, but she had put her time in at SM Ent. She was picked up by Jellyfish after she left SM and despite her fights because they saw artistic potential in her and believed that her quirky personality of being both clam and fiery would be an asset to a future girl group. She currently lives at the dorms with the rest of her group mates, and as stated isn't the biggest fan of the living situtation simply because of numbers but is doing her best to adjust to this dorm life. Music is still her biggest distraction from her personal life (aka her father, whom she recently got a restraining order against so that he can no longer contact her). She dedicates the majority of her time to vocal lessons and dance training, but is also a part time student at Seoul National University (a prestigious SKY University), majoring in performing arts. In her free time she likes to visit her friends at SM (minus Krystal) and spends time around Hongdae window shopping with her unnies. On occasion she will sneak to BigHit Entertainment's studio to spend time with Jungkook, and has so far succeeded in doing so without getting caught.
