Red Skys and Royal CardsTao’s POV
I groaned as I opened my eyes. I was lying on the couch in the living room with all the others around me, watching me. I made it in time; I seriously doubted that I was going to live the last few minutes before both Sky and I passed out. The last stretch I was starting to accept the fact that I was about to die and there wasn’t anything to stop it.
I could see the way it drained her each time she re-kissed the Cards and created the double bond and granted us our powers, and I felt guilty that I had to force her into a situation like that. I never planned on any of this happening.
I was planning to wait, to keep myself alive on my own for as long as I could, but that didn’t seem to work out. Everything was going so well; I was able to keep the bond stable enough while I was awake and concentrating. But the past sleepless days caused my mind to wander early in the morning and my concentration wavered and my bond went out of whack.
I lost the last bit of time I had left, and if I didn’t get the bond fast I was going to die and nothing could help me after that. Did I feel bad about bursting in on Sky like that, of course who wouldn’t but I needed her to do whatever she had done to the others if I was going to survive into the day.
I feel guilty that I forced Sky into a situation that isn’t much help to her current health. Lay Hyung had his power so I can only hope that he helped her before any of them did anything for me. I would be able to live through this now, but Sky had previous injuries that I was sure she damaged more as she put all her effort in to helping me.
Lay Hyung would have healed her and if I was here they must have found her and helped her. She was going to be fine, all of us were going to be fine. And I wasn’t going to die, not any time soon at least
“How are you feeling Tao?” I faintly heard D.O Hyung ask me.
“Tired Hyung.” I replied voice cracking.
“Here, drink this.” Suho Hyung told me handing me a glass of water. I gladly drank the whole thing down quickly. “Better?”
“Yes, thank you.” I replied as I sat up and wiped the water from the corner of my lips. “How is Sky? Is she alright?”
Suho Hyung filled up the glass with water again as I held it and sat back down with the others. “She’s resting, her back was bleeding again while she was passed out.” Chanyeol Hyung said as all of them continued to watch me.
“Do you know what happened to her Tao?” Kris Hyung asked me point blank, his stare fully directed at me.
How was I supposed to answer that? Of course I knew exactly what happened to her, I’m the one that caused it after all. It’s my fault she’s like that and I feel terrible about it, but there wasn’t much I could do to get around that. And if I told them I knew what happened then they would want to know why but I didn’t want to lie to the either. I’ve been lying to them the past few days and this is what came out of it.
“Don’t do dare lie to us again Tao.” Xiumin Hyung hissed.
I shrunk back a little, “Yeah I know what happened to her.” I confessed.
“What happened to her Tao? What did you do?” Chanyeol Hyung growled. I figured they would get made at me, but I didn’t think they would be this mad. They don’t even know what happened, what really happened and they are already mad at me.
I get that they care for her, I do as well, but I was hoping they could understand that if Sky didn’t do what she did and didn’t end up like she is now I would have died. I wouldn’t be here another day if it wasn’t for her and as long as she was fine in the end I wouldn’t feel to bad about what happened to her.
, Luhan Hyung has that look. I really should be more careful what I think especially when he’s around. I cringed as his glare was shot right at me and t wasn’t going to fade any time soon. He heard everything I didn’t want him to know.
He knew I almost died.
Luhan Hyung was seething and it didn’t pass the eyes of the other boys. I had no where to go since I was being backed into the couch with Luhan Hyung stalking over to me.
“What do you mean you were dying?” He growled as he grabbed my shirt collar and pulled me up.
“What!” Kris Hyung roared when he heard what Luhan Hyung said. I tried to pull away from my Hyung, but it was no use he wasn’t letting me get anywhere and my other Hyungs started to surround me. I was trapped. .
“Was that what you wouldn’t tell us Hyung?” S
