The MisfitsRain poured down from the sky, covering everything in a light, wet and cold dust. Adding to that, the wind howled loud, mixed with the light rumble of the thunder, which went through the dark clouds. “What a drag.” Chanyeol growled while he pulled his cap deeper into his face. Some of his bangs were already soaked wet and hung in his face. Chanyeol hated rain and there were only a few things he hated even more.
“Stop whining.” Baekhyun elbowed his friend slightly, but his expression was just as dark. “What are we doing here in the middle of nowhere?” Lay asked Luhan, who kept taking a look at his watch. For four hours now they waited in the rain, and Lay was starting to doubt that whatever Luhan was trying to do, it would simply lead them into a dead end.
The sound of a stuttering bike engine made them turn around at the same time. The sight which offered them was rather comical, and Chanyeol suddenly burst out in laughter. The bike looked like it would fall apart at any moment and the person who sat in top of it looked even more laughable. The young man wore a long, red-green striped scarf, which fluttered behind him in the air; a pair of aviator glasses sat on his nose and covered half of his face.; his hair stood messy to all sides and as he hopped of from the bike the huge, black coat covered him from head to toe.
Chanyeol couldn't stop laughing, but as Luhan threw him a warning gaze, he stopped immediately. “What's up? Haven't seen you for a while!” The young man called out and saluted mockingly. “We need some information, Jinki.” The man pouted lightly and rubbed his neck, but then clapped his hands. “Well, what can I do for you?” Jinki definitely was human, but it was also clear that he knew what Luhan and his friends were.
“We need to get over there.” For a moment, Jinki's smile wavered and disappeared, as well as his skin color. “You can't get over there,” was Jinki's first answer, but then he cleared his throat and corrected himself, “I mean... you could, but you know,” he shrugged his shoulders and stepped back. “You know, I am always in for crazy stuff but this is just well... a suicide command.”
Jinki was crazy enough to challenge and hunt some Vampires by himself alone and even though he didn't look like it, he was actually quite a one of a kind bounty hunter. Of course he took money for living and other stuff, but he also did it for fun. Simply fun, that's why people who knew him kept call him crazy Jinki. But Luhan's request was a bit too much, even for him.
He was not in the game to go into the lion's cage, and he didn't know anyone else who would be agree to that besides... “There should be someone... someone you actually know as well.” Luhan's expression turned bitter, and Sehun patted his shoulder. “Changmin.” Jinki nodded, but he could see from Luhan's expression that Luhan was not pleased. “Well, if you don't need me anymore, I will continue my way. Still
