The little smudge grew into a blur, which molded into a shadow, and with every passing day the thing in the mirror became more... human. The shadow was familiar, but Kai had worse things to think about. After the other accident, there was only one thing that Kai could remember the doctor saying, objects in the mirror, my dear, seem closer than they appear.
