The MisfitsHis hands cramped around her face, but Hana only leaned in and kissed him. “And you blame yourself because it is your fault.” It wasn't exactly a question, but Luhan nodded. “Yes, no... I don't know,” a pained expression appeared on his face and he sat up. “I really don't know. Everything is just a mess, even after those years. Everything is just a mess in my head,”
It was the first time that Hana had seen Luhan so... confused and broken. “I wish I could sort out some things. I wish that she hadn't died. I wish that she would still be alive. For us, for Changmin, for Sehun, for me.” The walls in the rooms creaked loudly and started to crack under Luhan's heavy turmoil of feelings. As Hana wrapped her arms around him from behind, Luhan laid his hands over her hands. “For Sehun? I don't understand.” As she kissed his ear and cheeks, Luhan calmed down a bit.
“She had a crush on me, but I was not the one who loved her. Sehun... loved her more than everything else in the world. After her death... he hated me like he never hated a person in this world. Not even time can heal his wounds, but time has managed to remove the hate towards me from him.” Those fifty years, in which he hadn't seen Sehun, had been like hell for him. Those years had been even worse than his father's death and than his exile all together.
“How did she died?” Hana didn't urge him to answer, and she would wait until he was ready to answer her. “She died protecting me.” Luhan whispered as the memory he always tried to push away made his way through his mind.
Rain poured down on the ground and washed the dirty streets clean. Cut off limbs, heads, and brains were spread all over the ground; the scent of blood filled the air, mixed with the scent of rain and death. “What are we going to do? There are so many dead people.” Chanyeol put his sword on his shoulder and looked around. Kai stood not too far away from him, his eyes dark and empty.
