Ch.65 Second Date
“Pirate of Korean Sea: The Curse of the Black Swan” and “Cowgirl Story”@ jyp_stan: Bunny is actually my most favourite character in both fics (and in real life too). She's the embodiment of the author's mind in both fic.
@ Wivern: Right. I’ll borrow the scarf.
CHAPTER 65 SECOND DATE
Mina and Sana had been dating for three weeks now. And Sana was very happy to be Mina's girlfriend. Mina spent a lot of time with Sana, often watching her performance, walking her home, and training her with more self-defense techniques.
This Saturday, Mina and Sana were having their second date. They decided to go to the bookstore, and then watch a movie in the cinema. Mina's car was under maintenance this week, so they decided to use public transportation instead.
It was raining heavily last night and the road was quite muddy, and puddle of water could be seen everywhere. Mina and Sana walked side by side on the sidewalk, with Mina taking the outer side.
Suddenly, a car drove passed near them, and there was a big puddle of water on the road next to them. The car hit the puddle and it caused a huge splash towards the girls' direction.
Upon seeing this, Mina quickly shifted herself to cover Sana, making her body as a shield for the older girl. As a result, Mina's shirt was tainted with water and mud.
Sana's heart was warmed upon seeing this. It was only a simple act. But it was kind and sweet.
Sana then took out her handkerchief and helped Mina cleaned her shirt.
"Thank you, Sana." Mina said, smiling.
And Sana smiled back. She's so sweet. She didn't even realize that it should be me who say thank you to her.
The girls continued walking to the train station. That day there was an opening of a new retail market in the town, and it made the public transportation become more crowded than usual.
Inside the train, Sana stood and leaned herself against the wall, while Mina stood in front of her. There were a lot of passengers standing behind Mina, and Mina was pushed closer towards Sana. Mina then placed her both arms on the wall, on the left and right of Sana's head. Everytime the train stopped or started moving, it would cause a sudden jerk inside the train, causing the passengers to bump into each other.
As more people came aboard, the train became even more crowded. And Mina was pushed even closer towards Sana. There was a sudden jerk inside the train which caused the passengers behind Mina to bump into her, which in turn, made her almost bumped into Sana. However, Mina resisted it by pressing her palms against the wall, preventing those people from bumping further. Once again, she was using her body as a shield so that those people won't bump into Sana. And while doing that, Mina also kept herself a few inches away from Sana so that Sana won't feel the pressure. And once again, Sana couldn't help but feel her heart warmed upon seeing this. It was just a simple act, but it showed how kind and gentle Mina was towards her. Mina was even willing to make herself as a shield, protecting Sana from those passengers.
Only the younger girl didn't know, Sana was secretly wishing for Mina to bump into her.
After quite a long ride, the girls arrived at their destination. They spent the rest of their day in the bookstore, reading their favourite manhwa and manga. After that, they grabbed lunch somewhere and went to the cinema.
"Mina, let's watch this! Ringu!" Sana said, pointing at a certain horror movie on the display.
"Horror movie!? Nooo!!" Mina immediately shook her head left and right non-stop. Horror movie was never her forte.
"Oh come on, what are you scared of? It's just a movie!" Sana ignored the girl's protest and dragged her to the ticket counter.
"Ringu, 2 tickets." Sana said.
"Ugh, Sana! I don't want to see a horror movie! I'm scared!"
Sana smiled at her. "Don't worry, Mina, you can hug me or hold my hand if you feel scared."
Two hours later, the two exited the cinema with their faces looking pale, with Mina being much paler. It was a very frightening movie indeed. And what makes it more scarier for them was because it's a Japanese movie, and they both know all the urban legends from their originating country.
The girls stood on the sidewalk in front of the cinema, taking a moment to calm themselves. And Mina decided to buy some drinks for them.
"Sana, I'm gonna buy drinks for us from the vending machine. Wait here, okay?"
"Okay."
Mina left, and Sana stood there and waited.
Then a handsome young man came at Sana. He was wearing white farmer hat on his head. And his face was very handsome like a KDrama ac
