"Ahjussi!!"

Nichkhun looked up from his entwined hands and glanced at the little girl who took a seat beside him on the wooden bench and glanced around, a hint of surprise was evvident in his eyes.

"Yes?" He asked with piqued curiosity.

"Why are you alone ahjussi?" The little girl asked innocently.

Nichkhun frowned, feeling uncertain on how to respond. He had not intended to end up at the childrem's park at the first place, since he has absolute no interest toward children. But he has been disoriented earlier; words from his best friend has been bothering him and made him wander aimlessly while he was deep in thoughts and just sat down immediately whe he saw a bench. He didnt know where he was until the little girl called his attention.

"I.....came here alone," was the only respond he could come up with.

The little girl frowned and tilted his head, "I dont like it when I see someone lonely..I hate feeling lonely too ahjussi. Can I stay with you first until you have someone with you?" The little girl perked at her own idea.

Nichkhun couldnt decide if the girl was persistent or just naturally cute in her own way.

"You shoo people away and how are you going to be happy if you are not going to settle down? You hate the idea of having a commitment but Khun....I cant always be there for you if you need something..."

"Ahjussi?"

Nichkhun broke his reverie and turned back to the girl who was waiting for him patiently.

"Yeah I guess you can stay with me for a while..but do you think that is a good idea? Werent you taught not to talk to strangers? What if I am a bad guy?"

The little girl shook her head frantically, "you dont look like a bad guy ahjussi! You look nice and handsome to look like a bad guy!"

Nichkhun chuckled, "thank you for your compliments but next time be careful or else you might nt be lucky. My name is Nichkhun, what is yours?" 

Nichkhun couldnt believe that he has managed to have a civil conversation with a kid. In his mind, he thought children beow ten are annoying and way too immature for his likings. Most children he has seen were too spoiled and always threw tantrums.

"Not all kids are like that. You just unfortunately met those but really Khun, dont close your mind and see them all alike. My nieces ae sweet and my nephews are well mannered. Just because you dont like kids, doesnt mean that you should mistreat them. Give it a chance when you meet one.."

"My name is Sulli and I'm six years old! Now we are no longer strangers!" She gave Nichkhun a toothy grin.

Nichkhun decided to listen to his best friend and give the little boy a chance instead of shoving her away.

"Speaking of which, why are you all by yourself?" Nichkhun questioned. He glanced around the playground and noticed the most children are accompanied by their parents or guardians.

Sulli bit on her lower lip and looked like she was going to tear up. "I got lost..but I know my mom will be able to find me here!"

"You got lost? How on earth did you get lost? Do you know where your house is?" Nichkhun asked worriedly.

"It doesnt hurt to care. You have always been insentitive towards other and i have been the only one who can tolerate with your selfishness..cant you open your hart to care for others, even it is just out of concern?"

Sulli looked down with a tint of pink forming on her cheeks as what it seemed from embarrassment. "I saw puppies...they were so cute! And then I dont know where my mom went; I know its my fault. But i'll be okay because I know my mom will find me here!" Sulli assured. Nichkhun wondered hw a kid like her could be so smart and brave.

"How about your dad?" Nichkhun asked.

Sulli shook his head, "No dad. I dont like my dad because he's a bad person," she said with much distaste.

Nichkhun frowned, "why do you say that?"

"Dad left me and my mom, he's a selfish dad who doesnt care about us and my mom is happier with just the two of us..but.." She stopped talking and pouted while fiddled her small fingers.

"But what?"

"Sometimes I think my mom is lonely," Sulli said sadly and suddenly perked up. "Ahjussi! Are you alone? Do you have a girlfriend or wife?" She asked excitedly.

Nichkhun laughed at the random question, he shook his head and anticipated what the little girl would ask next.

"Oh thats great!" She yepled happily and suddenly her name was being called from afar.

"Sulli!!"

"See! I told you my mom would find me here!" Sulli's grin was so contagious that Nichkhun could not help but smile at the little girl's cheerfulness.

"Thats good then but I hope he wouldnt think that I am a bad stranger," Nichkhun said.

Sulli shook her head and hopped off the bench, instantly pulling Nichkhun's hand with him.

"Mom! Mom! You found me!" Sulli grinned happily as she dragged Nichkhun with her as her mom instantly jogged towards them.

Nichkhun took a good look at the girl's mom. Rosy plumb pouty lips, bunny eyes, cute nose, light brown hair and her body is literally.....perfect enough.

"Damn, what is wrong with you Khun," Nichkhun thought.

"Mom!" Sulli let go Nichkhun's hand and ran towards her om, who bent lowly to pick Sulli up and embraced her. Nichkhun didnt miss the firm round behinds.

"Now what did you do this time?" Her mom scolded her slightly as she put Sulli down on the ground back.

"I saw cute puppies...I'm sorry," Sulli pouted.

"Again," her mom chuckled and patted her head, "at least I've found you."

And that's when their eyes met each other for the first time. It felt like an eternity with comfortable silence and they were radiating sparks of admiration for one another. None of them made a move until Sulli spoke.

"Mom! This is Nichkhun ahjussi! He's not a bad guy and I stayed with him while I waited for you. I didnt like him looking so lonely just like you. Maybe you can be togetherwith each other and wont be alone anymore! What do you think mom?" Sulli asked excitedly.

"Ssssulli!" Her mom was flustered, darting her eyes away from Nichkhun.

"If by any chance you stumble upon someone who is different and is able to capture you at the first moment, grab the chance and go for it. Try it for a change..maybe you might find greater happiness with that person. Be open minded, Khun. I just wanted you to be happy."

"I..dont mind, if you dont mind at all.." Nichkhun surprised himself when those words came out from his own lips.

Sulli's mom looked at him with surprise but in a good way. A small smile formed on his lips and she held out her hand, "I dont think I wont mind at all," her smile grew bigger, "I'm Song Qian."

"Yayyyy! Mom is not going to be lonely anymore!!" Sulli jumped with great happiness.

Nichkhun chuckled as he glanced down at Sulli, "I so glad you found me Sulli, " and winked at Song Qian when she glanced at him.

Song Qian blushed and eyed their hands, which Nichkhun has yet to release.

"Can I take you both out today? Oh wait! I need to call my best friend, Chansung and tell him I met you," Nichkhun didnt let go of Song Qian's hand while he fished his mobile phone with his free hand and pressed the speed dial.

"Chansung! Youre right! I met someone and her name is Song Qian and she got a daughter and her daughter is adorable!!" Nichkhun gushed over the phone while he kept his eyes on Song Qian, who has yet to stp blushing.

Then Song Qian felt her other hand being tugged by Sulli and she bent a bit to meet her daughter's height.

"Did I do a good job, mom?" Sulli whispered softly.

Song Qian let out a hearty laugh and pinched her daughter's cheecks, "Yes, you did baby," and glanced back at Nichkhun, who was done with his phone call and was smiling at her.

"Shall we go and have our date then?"

"I think Ive found the perfect one"
