Cold Couples
Description
Jung Soojung constantly runs around South Korea, working various different jobs (and quitting most of them) to support her sister, Sooyeon, as well as herself. Her selfish parents have fled to the U.S. to avoid any further debt caused by them. Soojung rarely has time to meet up with her friends, Jongin and Sehun, because she's so busy. Though one day, she is given the job of a maid at an incredibly high-class hotel and is assigned to clean the rooms of popular boy band, INFINITE. What happens when a Soojung scrubbing the bathtub accidentally meets a Myungsoo about to take a shower?
Characters
Jung Soojung (Krystal)
She is cold and direct yet still very naive. Due to the burden of so much work and hiding her anemia, Soojung doesn't pay much attention to her surroundings, usually too exhausted to notice anything. She's decided that finding a boyfriend is the last thing on her list of things to do before she dies. All she's focusing on is helping Sooyeon back to her former health and reuniting with the parents who've abandoned them.
Kim Myungsoo (L)
Similar to Soojung, Myungsoo is your typical, cool city boy. He doesn't give a damn about anything, really. After the public pressured him into breaking up with his girlfriend, Doyeon, Myungsoo has believed there's no hope in love for him, what with all the fangirls monitoring his every move. All he's focusing on is INFINITE's promotions and earning money from his CFs.
Kim Jongin (Kai)
He's the first person to ever approach Soojung when she had moved into his neighborhood and transferred schools. Though now that they're older, Jongin realizes his feelings for Soojung have ultimately grown over the years and he wants to be her knight in shining armor. He helps her find new jobs that are near where he works, which is at the local dance studio. Despite him knowing Soojung does not want a boyfriend right now, he plans on confessing to her soon. All he's focusing on is determining the appropriate time and place to do it.
Oh Sehun
He is Jongin's best friend and helps him out at the dance studio. He used to have a brief crush on Soojung, but it immediately came to an end when he found out about Kai's interest in her as well. From then on, he decided to just keep it mutual among the three of them.
Jung Sooyeon (Jessica)
She is Soojung's older sister. Often getting sick doesn't exactly help one to find a good-paying job. Sooyeon feels terrible her younger sister is the one taking care of her. All she's focusing on is getting better and working alongside Soojung.

"Aish, how annoying!" I shout, kicking aside an empty pizza box and staring ahead at the mess I'm to clean. "Just because they're idols doesn't mean they have to be so messy." I scan the room, wondering where to start. Peeking inside the bathroom, I notice the water stains lining the bathtub and decide to get rid of those first. I leave the door half-open and step inside. Pulling out the scrubbing brush, I set to work. I'm so immersed in trying to scrape a particular spot I don't hear the door open; that, and the brush itself makes an unpleasant scratchy sound.
"Omo!" A loud shout behind me finally grabs my attention. I glance over my shoulder and the brush drops out of my hand. There, standing in the bathroom doorway is a tall, shirtless boy, his eyes wide with surprise. Hmm, he's kind of cute. I blink and shake my head, snapping out of it. The stranger recovers from his shock and a frown crosses his handsome features. "Who are you?"
I struggle to form the right words, but my eyes keep lingering on his bare upper body, making it hard to concentrate....
[A/N] Hey, readers, here is yet another fanfic for you! I can't help it; new ideas just keep coming to me. (: I watched My Lovely Girl and found myself being a huge MyungStal shipper XD This is called 'Cold Couples' since all the main characters I'm using are known to have cold images as idols, so here you go.
