It was still dark outside but the brunette chose to go out now than later; when people are flooding the streets. She bent down to tie her shoelaces and finally grabbing her coat before leaving her apartment. She breathed the cold air and placed her hands on her pockets before walking to no specific place.

“Good Morning, Taeyeon.” The old woman who was sweeping the front of her own store has greeted her. Taeyeon smiled and greeted back. Before Taeyeon took her leave, the old woman handed her a bag of bread crusts.

“Is it Monday today?” Taeyeon looked puzzled, holding the bag of bread crusts on her hand.

“You’re still young to forget things so easily! It is Monday, Taeyeon dear.” The old woman joked as the brunette rubbed the back of her head and thanked the old woman once again for giving her bread crusts.

Since it is usual for Taeyeon to go out on early mornings, she has been regularly seeing her. The old woman owns a bakery and Taeyeon always buys her bread there. Being a regular and a friend, the old woman would give her bread crusts.

Taeyeon once again walked the lonely and quiet streets. Stopping at her tracks when she found herself at a familiar place once again- the bench by the riverbank. She’s been in Korea her entire life and she has no idea what the place is called.

The whole place let her feel all waves of emotions and nostalgic feeling.

She settled down on the bench she always occupies- third from the right, by the tree. Taeyeon hung her head and stared blankly at the leaves of the tree. Suddenly, she felt something jump on her. Even being startled by the action, Taeyeon did not do anything abrupt like standing up. She looked down and found a white dog smelling the bag of bread crusts beside her.

“You lost little again buddy?” Taeyeon talked to the dog as she patted him, “I’m guessing you’re hungry too.” She carried the dog to her other side and opened the bag of bread crusts. She took a handful and hovered it by the dog. The dog took a cautious action of smelling it first before it started to dig in.

After feeding the dog enough, Taeyeon sealed the bag once again and carried the dog to her lap. She held the collar and saw the engraved information about the dog.

“still Prince Fluffy, huh?” Taeyeon read the name as the dog beamed at her and her face.

“Woah, calm down there, little guy.” Taeyeon carefully pulled the dog away from her face, “Aren’t you staying out a bit too much? You look too fancy to be a street dog. I think your owner’s pretty worried by now. Plus, you’ve been out and about for days.” She continued to pet the dog. The dog gave her a sad look as if it understood what he just said.

“Sorry buddy, you gotta go ho-“ The dog jumped off her and ran away before she even got to carry it again. The girl was planning on taking the dog with her to search for the owner but the dog seemed to know its way so she let him be.

Realizing how the skies look lighter than earlier, she stood up and walked back to her place. She doesn’t really go out that much during daylight unless necessary. She wasn’t very fond of the heat and people combined. Being an artist, Taeyeon took her time inside her art room and did as much artworks she could- May it be painting, drawing with graphite or with other tools, she could handle them.

Taeyeon put her shoes to the side and hung her coat on the rack. For an artist, she likes to keep everything clean but her art room. She quickly placed the leftover bread crusts on the counter before running in her art room. She just had an image burned in her mind- it was the dog she met again earlier. Taeyeon does love making portraits but they all depend what her mind wants her to make, and what her heart lets her do; Let’s say the dog she met is white, but if she feels kind of out of it or depressed, she’d still paint the same dog but not with the same smile and color.

Taeyeon grabbed her brushes and paint before sitting in front of her canvas-- Her hands swiftly from here-to-there of the canvas, pretty , and precise image was starting to show in her canvas.

The woman who was in deep slumber is slowly being woken up as she felt her dog her hand that hung at the (side) end of her bed.

“Not now, Fluffy.” She said groggily, pulling her hand to retreat under the covers and rolled to the other side. The dog jumped up on her bed and the woman pointed her hand to the other side of the bed- signaling the dog to get off.

“Prince Fluffy, I told you not now…” She slowly sat up, as her dog wasn’t really following her now. “Geez, where did you even get all you ener-“ her eyes opened widely, surprised that her white covers have paw marks everywhere.

“YAH, DID YOU GO OUT AGAIN WHILE I WAS ASLEEP?” she hopped off her bed and carried the dog out of her room, “We need to talk. Where did you go and why are your paws so dirty?” she washed his paws before letting him down. The dog softly barked as a reply.

“Don’t give me those puppy eyes.” She rubbed her temples and sighed. The dog nuzzled to her leg and rubbed his face on her.

“Fine, you’re forgiven. Don’t you dare do that again. Seriously for the nth time.” She led the dog to the kitchen to give him a treat, but the dog refused to eat when it was prepared.

“Don’t tell me someone still fed you while I was out…” she crossed her arms and the dog just looked at her blankly. Before she could give another good scolding to her dog, the phone has interrupted her. The dog ran around the house- escaping his owner’s wrath.

“Miss Hwang, it’s Yuri. I hope I didn’t interrupt your sleep or anything…?” the person on the other line cautiously asked.

“No. Well, spill the news.” Tiffany pushed the phone against her ear and raised her shoulder to hold it. Both of her hands were occupied in making her bowl of cereal.

“Well, about that…It’ll take a little longer. Because the carrier delivered the mail to the wrong place, they needed to retrieve it first.” Tiffany sighed heavily.

“Forget about it. I’ll be down there in an hour, prepare a copy of the mail, I’ll talk to you as soon as I get there.” Tiffany hang up and started eating her bowl of cereal in a quick speed. So, I have to run this errand myself.

She stepped out of her black BMW and as soon as she entered the building- heads turning. She rarely comes to the office earlier than ten. The staff greeted her but she did not greet back as her mind was occupied at how she needed to run the errand herself.

“Yuri, in my office.” Tiffany said without turning her head or stopping in front of Yuri’s desk. The tanned woman shuffled to her feet and proceeded to her boss’ room.

“Where are the things that needed to be given to Ms.Kim?” Yuri sped back to her desk and back to Tiffany’s office to hand them over to her.

“Miss Hwang, you don’t have to run the errand! I’m sorry we are coming late!” Yuri bowed in ninety degrees. Yuri stood straight up again when she felt someone tap her shoulder- Tiffany.

“It’s the carrier’s fault. I don’t want this to happen again, avoid this as much as possible. We’ll be changing carriers from now on- I want you to handle that. I’ll run the errand myself and get this done once and for all. When I get back, I want to see all the final outputs for each thread on my desk- I’ll be checking them.” Tiffany’s the head of NYLON Korea. It’s only her third year and she’s not planning on messing up her records.

“I will start right away.” Yuri bowed before rushing off. Later on, Tiffany also took off to the address that’s written on the envelope.

a/n: Debating with myself whether to put the note before of after the chapter. But it's only appropriate to put it after, right? First chapter'll definitely be their meeting. Is the story kind of mainstream or something? please share your thoughts? Oh I must warn you beforehand (who-knows-how-many-chapter I already made) that some are mind blowing (well to me, it is) and some will just make you want to kill me. Conflict will soon flood your way. Anyways, I will no longer give you spoilers or anything. I hope you liked it at least.
