Description
Almost immediately after Kim Sunggyu graduated medical school, he begun his internship at a hospital in a big city of South Korea. There, Kim Sunggyu met a boy who he never thought would left such a big impression in his life - Sunwoo. But maybe life is not being so fair. Sunwoo who happened to be his first ever patient also happened to be the first patient of his to die. And to Kim Sunggyu, Sunwoo is not a mere patient of his. He is more than that and the pain of losing him is definitely greater than the pain of losing his first love.
And it takes more than a comforting Howon to help him go through his first ever heartbreak.
Yes, Kim Sunggyu direly needs his husband, even if he doesn't realize it himself.
And it was until the next morning when Sunggyu found himself ghastly running towards Sunwoo’s ward, only to find out that he was too late and Sunwoo was already gone.

Barely interning for 9 months. Married to Nam Woohyun. Still fighting about using his surname for their wedding registry.

An architect, usually out of country for his collaboration work with an oversea company. Married to Kim Sunggyu.
++ Lee Howon, 23 years old.
A fellow intern of Kim Sunggyu as well as his childhood bestfriend. Has a sharp tongue.
++ Myungsoo, 15 years old.
An orphan who shares a bedroom with Sunwoo in their orphanage. Very close to Sunwoo, almost like a twin.
++ Lee Sungjong, 20 years old.
Kim Sunggyu's half brother.
Just so you know, this story comes up when I was pondering on what would be my reaction if one day I were to lose my own patient for the first time. A part of this story is barely what I wanted to happen if it really did come true. Especially the part where my husband would step in and coax me out of my grieving. While the rest is just my wild imaginations to spice things up for this short-turn-long story. So yeah. Um. Yeah. Just read to find out?
