Forgotten Memories
Description
Memories are important to every single one of us, whether if they are good or bad. It's what makes us who we are.
Seo Joohyun lost her memories and luckily it wasn't all of them. She couldn't remember the past eight years of her life and these years were the most important to her. It was an important period especially for a girl.
Even though Girls' Generation was currently having their short hiatus, Seohyun's life was still as busy as ever. However, this time was different. A lot of things have happened during the past few years including the marriages of some of the members of the group as well as the welcoming of new members into their families. The paparazzis were still interested in their private lives and more netizens and haters were posting on the net about them but they didn't care. They ignored the hateful comments and focused on the good things in their lives.
Seohyun was casually walking in the sidewalk with a cap and a sunglasses on, hiding her face. Afterall, she was still a celebrity. Beside her was her eonni, Hyoyeon, who was wearing something similar. Hyoyeon was one of the few remaining members who were not married yet and she gladly accompanied Seohyun to her shopping spree.
Seohyun looked around the nearby clothing stores when her eyes were drawn towards a child. The little girl laughed as she ran in front of her with a toy doll in her hands. She didn't notice that she was running towards the street and didn't see the car speeding towards her.
With her fast reflexes, she tried to run to the girl in an attempt to save her. She didn't care what would happen to her as long as that child was safe. Children were not meant to die early. They still had a lot of things that they had to experience.
She grabbed the girl and jumped away from the direction of the car. She held her tight and protected her from getting hurt by making her bigger body her cushion.
Her body hit the asphalt road and all she could feel was pain. People slowly surrounded around her body to look what had happened. Seohyun could hear their muttering and she could even hear some of them calling an ambulance. She could also hear camera noises and the panicked voice of Hyoyeon.
Darkness was not that far but before she could enter into it, she muttered "I'm sorry."

This is something different to the past fics I wrote because /drum rolls/ ................. it is not a one shot ^^
I have always prefered a one shot because I wouldn't have to think too much about how to write the next chapter, etc.. It's also shorter because I only have to focus on short events instead of long ones.
This idea has been on my mind for months, maybe years now but I wasn't sure which artists I would use. At first it was Baekhyun and I wrote a bit of it but then I got stuck on what to write. So I just left it and tried to forget about it.
When I started writing the Seokyu oneshots, it made me remember about this and it made me think "Heeeeeeeeeeeey~ I think this will work" and planned it.
As I was thinking about the plot, it reminded me of the Reply series (Reply 1997 and Reply 1994) and you'll know the reason soon.
This fic won't be a long one, probably less than 10. Writing long ones confuse me a lot.
