Description

First impression is very important to her. The way they talk, the way they smile and behave─she takes all in her account. Yet, he never amazed her when they first met four years ago.

To her, he is alright─an ice prince with a handsome face who was born in a silver spoon. He is obviously a typical kingka in the school.

Oh Sooyeon knows she shouldn’t ‘judge a book by its cover’ but that simple phrase helps her grow up to a mature and an independent girl.

That is how it normally goes, till fate ties them together.

Foreword

It was strangely quiet as most of the guests were holding their breaths together. Only birds’ chirping sounds outside were faintly heard.

“I do,” her soft voice that almost sounded like a small whisper echoed throughout the small church.

A round of applause followed after that. She could hear small sobs coming from the first line of the guests’ seat.

“BRIDE and GROOM, you have heard the words about love and marriage, have exchanged your vows and made your promises, and celebrated your union with the giving and receiving of rings. It is at this time that I now pronounce you husband and wife." The man grinned as he nodded to both of them. “You may now kiss the bride.”

A naughty laugh from the guests' seat was heard before it slowed down as the new pair turned to face each other. The husband was intensely staring at his bride’s eyes as his hand slowly and gently reached for hers. The atmosphere became peacefully quiet once again. For the first time ever, she couldn't read what was written on his face. Was it nervousness? Anxiety? Or happiness?

Her heart was thumping loudly that she became afraid if the guy in front of her could hear it.

He leaned in and the small gap between them disappeared.
