“I ing saw you!” Kiseok yelled through clenched teeth. Before he could react, Kiseok’s fist connected with his jaw. The impact sent him stumbling into the wall. “I told you to stay away from her, how many times do I need to repeat myself?!”

“I knew this would happen. I warned you; Kiseok isn’t someone you should mess with,” Sunghwa muttered, tossing him an icepack.

He winced as he pressed the pack to his jaw. “Like I said, she isn’t my type,” he remarked.

Sunghwa eyed him suspiciously. “Your actions say otherwise. Kiseok ain’t one to punch someone without solid basis.”

“Just do me a favor and tell him I feel nothing towards her. She simply isn’t my type.”

“For your sake, I ing hope you’re right.”

“Speak now or forever hold your peace,” the pastor announced. There came a silence and he felt uncomfortable. He looked away from the bride smiling on the altar, staring dreamily at her groom. He turned his head – unable to look at her any longer – only to lock gazes with Sunghwa. Sunghwa stared at him as if challenging him to speak up. He bit his lip and turned away. The silence was deafening and his stomach twisted.

Screw you.
