Planet Rosinate ; the seventh globe orbiting the Baten Kaitos star on the Cetus constellation. The planet is a little over 10,000 years old and is the smallest and only planet in the galaxy that can and does sustain life.

Synates ; the inhabitants of Rosinate. Synates are much like humans from earth but there is one thing that sets them apart. That one thing, is their abilities. A hundredth of the population of 10 million Synates are born with abilities. This handful of gifted Synates are called, The Blessed.

The Blessed are gifted with an Aptitude Gem that is located in the center of their heart. Using their abilities causes their eyes to glow and each colour represents a different ability.

Apart from The Blessed, on Rosinate there are 5 individuals they call, The Royals. Each of them have enhanced abilities that nobody else on the planet has. The legend of The Royal's powers is that it can only be bestowed upon a new Blessed Synate through reincarnation. These 5 Royals are raised to be the leading protectors of Rosinate.

It had always been five. Until one day, there was a new addition to the Royals' Headquarters. They called her, The Anassa.
