Sometimes... things aren't always going according to how we want them to be.

Kim Taeyeon has been an orphan for 10 years now. Her mother died after giving birth to her while her father had a tragic death when she was young. Because of that, Taeyeon is forced to live in her uncle's house, where she is often treated unfairly and coldly. Not that she had a choice anyway. She wants to run away, but she can't. She has to save up a lot of money if she wants to live on her own... away from them. 

Losing her father traumatized her in a big way, 'causing her to be somewhat of an introvert, being more comfortable of being just by herself. She is constantly being picked on by her schoolmates, stating how much of a weirdo she is, because she would rather sit by herself in the far corner of the classroom than hang out with other people, she'd stay at home rather than attending parties, and talk to herself while holding a particular object.
