"Play"

*HyunMi's POV*

 

"Sandeul-oppa! What happened to Jinyoungie!?" I worried, running up ahead Sandeul towards the rooftop. I've asked him for thousands of times but he wouldn't answer.

"Just *pant* GO!" he panted hard, almost collapsing on the stairs. I wanted to help him but my mind was focused on Jinyoung. I ran up the remaining steps quickly, and when I finally reached the end, I opened the door harshly. Scanning the dark area, I stepped outside with wandering eyes.

"Jinyoung?" I called out in the awkward darkness.

"Hey" someone with a husky, low voice whispered from behind and two hands softly landed on my waist, shocking me completely. I turned around quickly and saw Jinyoung smiling at me.

"Jinyoung-ssi, gwaenchana?" I worried. Unknowingly, I cupped his face and scanned if he had any bruise or cuts on him. Up, down, front, back, side by side, I carefully observed if he was hurt. Still frantically observing him, he chuckled amusingly.

"Wae?" I asked, confused.

"You're so worried." he said in delight as he looked at my hands that were still holding his face. I was unaware that I was too worried about him. I shifted my look to the side and quickly dropped my hands from his smooth face. I stepped back away from him and cleared my throat. This is embarrassing~

 

"Why were you so worried?" he asked mischievously and took a step closer to me. I felt my cheeks burning so I let my hair fall down in front of my face to hide it. But he gently locked my hair behind my ear, revealing my tomato face. He flashed a heart-warming smile, making the blood rush up to my cheeks more.

"I-I... Sa-Sandeul.." I stummered badly, keeping my eyes away from his, and pointed at the door awkwardly. "H-he... He was panicking and... I thought s-something bad happened to y-you" I said shyly to a whisper. Aish! Is this karma for what I did to Taemin!? I'm going crazy here!

 

"I didn't say anything about something bad happened to hyung" Sandeul abruptly said as he stepped outside. I opened my mouth, waiting for words to come out but I slowly pursed them together and lowered my head of embarrassment.

"H-hyung, can we start?" Channie asked, peeking his head from behind the door. Jinyoung gave him a thumbs up and took two seats out.

"These are the last things you need to remember" Jinyoung smiled sweetly at me as he gestured for me to sit down.

"Action!" Sandeul shouted. There was a sudden spotlight shining down at the center of the rooftop, revealing Shinwoo standing up like a man he is, and Baro sitting down on the cold floor.

"HyunMi-ah~" Shinwoo called with emotions. Baro swiftly looked up and Shinwoo held his hand, making him to stand up.

"Huh?" I tilted my head, thinking how weird it was.

"Strange it is... but it's a play of our... err... memories together" Jinyoung chuckled sheepishly. I looked at him blankly for a while and soon smiled. That's quite... sweet of him... Dorky, yes, but... very sweet. Kekeke.

 

"HyunMi, I love you" Shinwoo continued acting. He was really great at it. The way he spoke felt like he really does love the person he was speaking to. Baro acted a confused expression. Ji-Jinyoung confessed to me?

"HyunMi," Shinwoo started again and squeezed Baro's hands.

"Mwo?" Baro responded in a girly way.

"I love you with all my heart." Shinwoo confessed. "Do you believe me?" he asked, hoping for a possitive reply.

 

As they continued acting, the exact memory was playing inside my mind. I was really touched. My heart started beating rhythmically inside my chest. Gladly I can remember everything smoothly. No brain thumping. No tiny pinches of pain from my stitch. When the snowing part came, Sandeul started throwing flakes of styrofoam in the air like an overly excited flower boy. Jinyoung and I started laughing at how funny it looked. Then slowly leaning closer to each other... Shinwoo and Baro, I can't believe this, were about to kiss!

"No. Are they really going to..." I trailed off. Kiss...

 

The word kept echoing inside my head. Just then, the image of Jinyoung and me flashed. We... kissed! I remembered how cold the weather was, but the passionate kiss melted it all away. I forgot the coldness of the romantic night with him with just the touch of his lips on mine. Lightly touching my lips with the tip of my fingers, I smiled at the wonderful moment replaying inside my mind. With just that feeling, I'm positively sure that I'm still in love with him.

 

Going back to the actors, I gazed up and found their faces inches apart already. Shaking in their position, they hesitated. But Shinwoo leaned a centimeter more, making Baro very nervous and uncomfortable.

"Yah! Yah! Stop! It's disgusting!" Sandeul grimaced.

"AH!" Baro and Shinwoo exclaimed in disturbance and quickly leaned away from each other. As they parted, they shuddered in disgust. I giggled at their playfulness.

"Act I finally ended" Sandeul mentioned and all bowed together. Jinyoung and I applauded proudly.

"Watch out for the next one" Jinyoung whispered while I was still clapping. I slowly stopped and looked at him. Looking into his eyes made me feel like I was reborned. I felt my love for him growing more than before because of all the efforts he's been doing. How lucky am I to have him? :)

*Jinyoung's POV*

 

The next act was my little surprise for HyunMi last Valentine's Day. I was really looking forward for this act since Channie will be a bit... different. Puahahaha! Sandeul and the others prepared the new props on set before opening the spotlight again.

"ACTION!" Sandeul clapped as soon everything was finish. The door slowly opened. Stepping his right foor out, we all bursted laughing when we saw Channie in a dress. Sandeul just plopped at his position when he saw Gongchan. Shinwoo, a great and serious actor, couldn't hold in his laughter as well. Baro was clutching on Sandeul's arms weakly as they laughed wildly. We were really caught off guard to see him in that situation. We really didn't practice anything, just the lines and how to do it in just two days.

 

"Ha-ha-ha" Channie said sarcastically. "Let's just go with it" he demanded while stomping one foot like a little girl. It made us laugh some more.

"Yah!" Baro laughed before continuing. "It's like Sesame Player all over again!" he rolled on the floor, laughing. We couldn't stop laughing, even Channie started laughing as well at the crazy thing he was wearing.

"Stop it!" I ordered, keeping myself from laughing. HyunMi was really entertained as she kept on laughing. They all composed theirselves and started acting. First, they did the dinner scene. I looked at HyunMi's expression. It was very obvious whenever she was remembering something. She just spaces out, staring at the ground and holding on to the necklace I gave her.

 

This time was longer than a while ago. Shinwoo and Channie were already acting the dancing part, and she still hasn't recover. I looked back at the boys, I chuckled once I watched Channie dancing perfectly like a girl while the dress was gently floating up. As I began laughing, HyunMi started to blink many times and just continued to watch the boys. I reached for her hand and squeezed it gently. I just... miss her, the one who remembers me.

She looked at me and flashed her... most beautiful smile that I really missed. She haven't flashed that smile since we saw each other in school. Does she remember?

"Wae?" she asked with a lovely tone. I shook and just smiled at her. She moved her chair closer to me and rested her head on my shoulder. My heart began pumping crazily! I... I can't... put to exact words what I'm feeling right now. Happy. Joy. Relief. Astonishment. Love. Want. All of them really. I missed this...

I gently caressed her cheek and we both continued watching the play.

 

 

Time for the fireworks! Sandeul and Baro started tossing colorful confettis in the air, and Channie acting perfectly as HyunMi. He actually remembered every wonderful expression HyunMi did that night. Finally, Shinwoo and Channie looked at each other. Inch by inch they leaned closer.

"Aish! Why am I always the one doing this!?" Shinwoo complained and moved away. I heard HyunMi's musical giggle.

"Yah~ do we still need to continue?" Baro asked in fear.

"Ne" I smiled deviously

"Hyung!" Sandeul and Baro complained.

"HyunMi still doesn't remember the last date" I pointed out. I felt her head, that was on my shoulder, nod in agreement. The boys frowned and went to their positions.

"Oppa" HyunMi surprisingly called. She didn't call me "Jinyoung-ssi"!

"N-neh?" I asked excitingly.

"Do you really need to make them act that scene?" she asked. "I mean, isn't that where we... kissed a lot?" she shyly, cutely added. I looked at her in surprise.

"Y-you remembered!?" I asked, stunned.

"Shh~!" she quickly husshed me and flashed a fishy smile. I laughed at her little evil trick. I hugged her with both arms and she intertwined our fingers together. How I really missed this feeling!

I buried my lips on her hair, and took a secret kiss so the members wouldn't see.

 

 

After a few lines, Sandeul and Baro looked miserable while holding hands.

"Hyung~" Baro and Sandeul called with a whining tone.

"Wae?" I asked, acting like I didn't know what will happen next.

"Do we really need to?" they asked in sync, pertaining to the kiss scene.

"You need to!" Chansik laughed.

"Hmmm..." I hummed. "Just lean in for a while" I laughed, wanting them to suffer. They grimaced as they looked at each other. Baro took in a deep breath and composed himself. He semi-cupped Sandeul's face since Baro was me.

"Yah! You're not serious are you!?" Sandeul panicked. Baro nodded very seriously as he stared into Sandeul's eyes.

"Ah! I'm going crazy!" Sandeul complained, and just acted along lazily. Baro slowly leaned his face closer as Sandeul closed his eyes. They both leaned in closer and turned their heads away from the audience. Channie and Shinwoo began laughing insanely.

"Yah, yah! That's enough!" I ordered holding in my laughter. They both gladly leaned away and shuddered.

"You are so going to die hyung!" Baro stomped towards me.

"Aya! I just told you to lean in even just a centimeter, but you took it too far." I defended.

"I'm gonna kill you after this Baro!" Sandeul pointed, still in disgust. We all started laughing at their expressions.

"Aish, I have a feeling that this night will haunt me whenever I look at Baro's face that close." Sandeul grimaced.

"I think I won't be able to sleep with you later" Baro scowled.

"Okay okay" I chuckled. "Let's skip to the tickling part." I winked. Baro looked at Sandeul darkly.

"Yah!" Sandeul warned. Before Baro could tickle him, Sandeul sprinted quickly away from him. He's really ticklish. Baro ran with all his might and caught Sandeul. Starting to tickle him to his death, Sandeul lied down on the cold floor laughing like there's no tomorrow. We all laughed once we heard Sandeul's most ridiculous laugh.

 

"Come on now, be serious!" I acted seriously.

"Make him stop! HAAHAHAHAHA!" Sandeul begged. Baro finally stopped and helped Sandeul up. They acted the next part, which was when I gave her the necklace.

 

 

 

 

After the play, I went straight to the shower and cleaned up then I went to HyunMi's room.

"That was really fun!" HyunMi chimed when she stepped out from the bathroom, finished cleaning up. It's been a while since we were in her room together.

"Glad you enjoyed it" I said sincerely. She looked at me in surprise. She stepped towards me and hugged me. I was a little bit surprised, but extremely over-joyed.

"Gomawo. Jeongmal gomawo" she whispered in my ears. She sounded like she was about to cry.

"Anything for you" I whispered back and stroked her hair. She pulled away a bit and looked at me.

"But, why wasn't our first kiss acted?" she asked curiously. "You know, that was the most memorable for me"

"Uhmm... That... They actually think our first kiss was last Christmas at the park" I said as I scratched the back of my head. "Plus, they won't do it even if I told them" I chuckled.

"You have a point" she giggled sweetly. We stared into each others eyes, and the sparks in her eyes were just amazing.

"I missed you" I confessed. She slightly laughed.

"I'm really sorry for making you worry" she hugged me again tightly.

 

*click!*

"Channie" we sighed quietly. We broke the hug and looked by the door where Channie was with no surprise in our expression or whatsoever. Channie jumped when he saw our blank faces and chuckled nervously.

"Good night~" he squeaked and swiftly left.

"Might as well say good night to you too" I turned to HyunMi and lightly kissed her forehead. Before I could step outside, she grabbed my wrist.

"I'm coming with you pabo" she smiled. I chuckled and held her hand.

 

 

"You stay away from me!" Sandeul pointed at Baro. "I'm still traumatized!" he complained.

"Yah! At least we didn't kiss!" Baro pointed out.

"I guess so" Sandeul agreed

"Guys guys!" I hushed them. "HyunMi's sleeping with us" I announced.

"Jinjja!?" Sandeul jumped and everyone sat up on their beds. *thump!*

"Oww oww oww oww!" Channie's head bumped on the ceiling and complained in pain.

"Gwaenchana?" I asked. He winced yet nodded.

"Jinjja!? You'll be sleeping with us again!?" Baro asked HyunMi in disbelief.

"Neh~" HyunMi happily answered.

"So that means you remember everything?" Shinwoo implied. She nodded blissfully and everyone rejoiced. In the middle of celebrating, Sandeul suddenly yawned.

"Let's go to sleep... I'm tired~" he said and laid down on bed with Baro. He covered his face with a pillow and started dazing off.

"Arasseo" I said and closed the lights. Holding HyunMi's hand, I led her to my bed.

"Good night~" she chimed.

"Good night~" the boys responded. I automatically snuggled her when we laid down. She laughed quietly.

"Wae?" I whispered and pulled her nearer. She shook her head and looked at me with her dazzling eyes. She caressed my cheek and smiled. I smiled back without any reason.

"I envy you" she suddenly pouted.

"Oh really? Why so?"

"You have such nice skin" she frowned. I chuckled quietly at her compliment.

"You also have nice skin HyunMi" I smiled and caressed hers.

"Liar" she huffed cutely.

I laughed, "Let's go to sleep, hmm?" I suggested. She nodded and shut her eyes. I smiled at how cute she looked like. I closed mine as well.

 

 

 

"Pfft~" I heard someone silently huffed. I squinted one eye open, and saw HyunMi awake with cheeks puffed as she laid straight on bed beside me. She was looking at the undreneath of the upper deck. I closed my heavy, sleepy eye again.

"Can't sleep?" I whispered in her ear. I sense her shook her head. There was one think I know that can make her go to sleep.

*HyunMi's POV*

 

He started singing me a wonderful song in my ear. I wasn't quite familiar with it, but it was beautiful. It's really funny how he can still sing perfectly even though he's already sleepy. Little by little, I closed my eyes. The tune of his voice soothed my mind. Little did I know, I was already drifting away with the song inside my head.

 

 

Slowly opening my eyes, someone with such an angelic face was the first thing I saw. I smiled and lightly touched his face, tracing his forehead down to the tip of his nose. Carefully lingering my fingers on his lips, he suddenly smiled.

"Good Morning~" he spoke. I quickly pulled my fingers away and closed my eyes. I felt my cheeks bursting with color. I heard his heart melting chuckle.

"HyunMi-ah~" he cooed lovingly, making my heart dance. I continued pretending to be quickly asleep again. I felt a pair of soft lips touch my forehead.

"Ireonaseyo~ (wake up~)" he sang. I still didn't open my eyes. A light peck on my nose managed to make me break a small smile.

"Ireonaseyo~" he sang once more. I still didn't budge. I waited for one last kiss...

I pouted with my eyes still closed and turned to the other side, making my back face him. I huffed stilly to myself. I felt him move closer as his chest touched my back.

"HyunMi~ Wake up~" he cooed. His warm breath tickling the back of my ear and traveling down to my lower jaw.

"Mmm..." I groaned like I still wanted to have some sleep.

"Ayaaa~" he cutely murmured. I squinted both my eyes open as I turned to face him again.

"Wae?" I pouted.

"You mad?" he asked childishly.

"Molla" I teased with an irritated tone and closed my eyes once again.

"Don't be mad~" he said. I felt his nose between the side of my nose and cheek. I slowly flew my eyes open and discovered he had leaned so close. I stared into his enchanting, captivating pheonix eyes-- the first thing that made me fall in love with him.

He eye-smiled, making my heart faint.

"Good morning" he smiled. I was speechless as I got lost in his stare. He chuckled and caressed my cheek. As he pecked my lips, I blinked many times.

"Awake?" he asked sarcastically. Yes. Yes, I am. Kekeke

 

I closed my eyes and smiled, wanting another kiss. How I missed those lips. Finally, I felt him slowly leaning more. Kissing me tenderly, I smiled before kissing back. It was just one quick kiss and we both opened our eyes.

"I'm awake." I smiled. He smiled back and kissed my forehead once more.

 

 

*click!*

 

"Channie~" we groaned. From above, we saw Channie's hands and his loyal camera friend.

"Good Morning~" Channie chuckled and pulled his camera away. Feeling embarrassed, I covered my face with a pillow.

"I hate you~" I mumbled through my pillow.

"HyunMi, you're still beautiful even though you just woke up" Channie complimented in astonishment. I flushed quickly and tried to suffocate myself a bit with the pillow. Jinyoung quickly removed it from my face, and chuckled once he saw my red face.

"It's true you know" Jinyoung whispered.

"Liars" I hissed. He laughed and snuggled me once again

 

"Aish. I love you" he whispered happily. Hearing those words from him just made my morning the best. My heart was running and thumping crazily behind my chest.

"I love you too~" I whispered back. He kissed my temple and just continued to wrap me in his arms.

Annyeong~ Sorry for the late update. Yesterday was Mothers' Day, so the family went somewhere. ^^ I was planning to release this last night, but since I haven't finished it... yeah.
