"Please... Don't Leave Me"

*HyunMi's POV*

 

It's Sunday and I'm sitting in the living room with Jinki, I mean Onew, and Aunt MinLi. 3 weeks passed since I've moved out. I really miss them. I haven't visited them even once after I moved out. I miss all the noise, laughter, games, and different things we did together in the dorm.

I sighed and came back to my senses. I watched TV with the two of them, and there were endless news about Jinyoung and Yuri the moment I laid my eyes on the screen. Rumors had spread just last week that they were dating. And a couple of days the media claims that they are officially dating. When I watched that news, I was completely shocked. But I expected that something like that would happen someday. I was just caught off guard when that "someday" came by fast. My tears exploded out of my eyes... the whole evening when I heard the news I cried my heart out. As I cried my heart out until the early morning, Channie sent a message saying that it was all for publicity. I calmed my nerves down after that.

"Photos of Yuri and Jinyoung together in a simple restaurant caught the netizens eyes last week. Rumors spread all over the net. They've denied that they were dating, but eventually... confessed. Label companies--" the lady on the screen reported.

I closed my eyes. Irritated with every word coming out from her. I plugged my headphones on my iPod and put them on. I turned the volume up to the highest level so I couldn't hear a single word.

"Jung Jinyoung, you really are something" I thought as I closed my eyes and focused on the loud music.

 

 

*bang!*

Some minutes passed, something hard hit me on the head and landed on my lap. I opened my eyes and furrowed my eyebrows. I looked at the hard object-- baseball.

"Yah!" I glared at Onew. He was obviously the only one who could've done that. He started saying some words, but I couldn't hear him. I remembered that my headphones were still on me. I took them off, and loud music began bursting from it.

"Why did you hit me with a baseball!?" I yelled.

"You're music's too loud! I could hear it from here!" he scolded. He was really far away from me, don't know the exact distance. But he is far from where I'm sitting. I just rolled my eyes and walked to my room.

"Woah~ Are having your PMS?" he asked in a irritated tone. I paused from walking and felt myself blush a little. I shot him a look and entered my room. I admit it, I do have my monthly today that's why I'm all cranky and stuff. But it's my last day, I think. But even though I don't have my monthly, I would still be hurt and mad at Jinyoung. We weren't that okay when I moved out, so we were still a bit off.

 

I sat on my bed and let out a heavy sigh. I looked at my phone to see if Jinyoung texted. But no one sent a single text to me today. I grunted and laid flat on bed.

"Why am I even waiting for your explanation?" I muttered to myself. "It's not like I'm his girlfriend, which I'm not" I sighed. I always thought that we'll be together as couple one day... guess I was wrong.

"HyunMi?" Aunt MinLi knocked on my door.

"Come in" I approved. She opened the door and sat beside me. I sat up and smiled at her. "Wae?"

"Aren't you going to tell the boys?" she asked with a worried tone. By "boys" he meant B1A4.

"I don't think so, not with all the news going on." I forced a chuckle. Auntie doesn't know about what Jinyoung and I had.

"Still..." she replied. She stared at me with pleading eyes.

I sighed, "arasseo"

"Great." Auntie clapped and left. I fell on bed and covered my face with a pillow

"Great~~" I grunted under my pillow.

 

 

3 days passed...

 

Okay. No more PMS. HAHA! I feel so fresh. xD

"HyunMi!" AnJi waved at me. They were already sitting at our table in the cafeteria. I skipped towards them and said hi.

"Ya, aren't you going to tell Gongchan and the others? Graduation is fast approaching." AnJi said while scooping a spoon of her yogurt.

"AAAH~" I opened my mouth, and she gently shove the spoon in my mouth, "Gomawo"

"Why should I tell them?" I pouted and played with my spoon.

"Yah. Even Channie deserves to know." she hit my arm lightly.

"Channie does. How about Jinyoung?" Taemin pointed out grimly as he focused on his food. My head fell down and felt a bit upset.

"Oh... yeah." AnJi said in realization and just continued eating.

"Even if you didn't tell me what do, I'll still be telling them." I sighed.

"Jinjja? Wae?" Hyukjae asked while he's mouth is full.

"Dude, talk when you're mouth is empty. That was disgusting" Taemin grimaced.

"Aunti MinLi pleaded." I answered. "When?" AnJi asked.

"May be after school today. I don't have anything else to do this afternoon, so might as well visit them" I said and played with my food.

"You know, you're lucky to be studying in New York. You can easily go shopping after shcool." AnJi laughed.

"Yeah. But how about the queenkas there?" I asked, and we both shrugged.

*Jinyoung's POV*

 

"Another shot of the JinRi couple at a store while linking arms" I read the title of an article online. I sighed and closed my laptop.

"Why did you ever agree on shopping along with her?" Sandeul asked. I remained silent and climbed on my bed. I reached for my headphones that HyunMi gave me. Before putting them on, I looked at the etched name on it. Suddenly, HyunMi's bubbly face flashed in my head. I miss her so much. :(

I sighed and put it on. I started composing. Time passed, I heard a knock on the door.

"Oppa~~!!" someone chimed. Oh no~

It was no other than Yuri. She barged inside the room without any permission. She sat beside me and stared at me.

"Wae?" I finally asked. "Watcha doing?" she questioned in a high note.

"I'm composing" I answered without even looking at her. "Arasseo" she nodded, and sat quietly. I ignored her all the way as I composed. When she got bored, she started looking through my stuff. She spotted my phone and took it.

"Oppa, can I look?" she quickly asked. I looked at her for a while and nodded, and went back to composing. She sat beside me again and I heard her unlock my phone.

"Oppa, what's the password?" she asked. I looked at her, and suddenly remembered HyunMi again.

"11, 22" I answered. It was HyunMi's birthday. When I heard the unlock sound, Yuri's eyes widen.

"N-nice wallpaper" she complimented, but guilt was in her tone. I smirked remembering it. It was me and HyunMi, she did a kiss face while looking at me. I leaned my head back and just relaxed while listening to music.

Time passed, I suddenly drifted away.

*HyunMi's POV*

 

"Yah, Bballi!" I ordered AnJi who bought another ice cream. "No wonder Hyukjae's broke" I joked.

She hit my arm playfully and continued licking her strawberry ice cream. Not too long, we reached the boys' dorm. It was late in the afternoon, and any moment the sun will set. I looked at the building and a smile splashed on my face. Gosh, I missed this place.

AnJi and I walked upstairs, she finally finished her ice cream. I knocked first before entering the code. I was surprised that they haven't changed it yet. We both walked in to the living room.

"Anyone home?" I asked. Footsteps suddenly stomped their way towards our direction. The boys glided to a stop in front of us.

"HYUNMI!" they all exclaimed happily and charged towards us. They quickly hugged me tightly, and I can't hold back my laughter 'cause of their childish behavior.

"We missed you!" Sandeul chimed.

"I missed you more" I winked and lead all of us to the living room.

"Will you cook for us?" Baro quickly asked. I sat down and shook my head.

"She's here to tell you guys something important" AnJi smiled. I nodded along. I scanned the boys if they were complete, sadly, Jinyoung wasn't present. They all sat down in one sofa and listened attentively.

"I'll be going away for a while" I started. I looked at their face. Their wonderful smiles disappeared, and all became serious.

"What do you mean?" Channie asked.

"Well, the reason I moved out is... I'll be studying in New York after graduation." I muttered. Their eyes slowly widen, and jaws fell.

Sandeul stood up and said, "HyunMi! KAJIMA!"

"I'll be coming back eventually. After I finish studying there, I want to come back here in Korea and work" I smiled.

"How many years?" Shinwoo asked seriously. "4 or 5 years?" I said uncertainly.

"That's so long" Channie frowned. I flashed a smile to boost even a tiny bit of their energy. Silence took over after that.

 

"Where's Jinyoung-ssi?" AnJi suddenly asked when she finally noticed someone was missing.

"In his room.." Sandeul answered. "Oh, Yuri's in there too." he mumbled. I quietly shurgged and ignored what he said.

"Just tell him that I came by." I forced a smile. "AnJi, kaja?" I nodded at AnJi.

"Yah," she whispered. "Talk to him."

I shook my head quickly and stood up. Channie suddenly caught my shoulder.

"You. Him. TALK" he mumbled and started pulling me towards their room.

*Third Person's POV*

 

"He's so cute when he's asleep" Yuri thought while observing Jinyoung's sleeping face. She got bored of looking through Jinyoung's photos, since all she sees is him and HyunMi together. She felt quite envious towards HyunMi. Yuri thought HyunMi was really lucky to have him. But because of her... she broke an innocent heart. Yuri really felt guilty for hurting HyunMi. But she can't help his feelings for Jinyoung. The more he pushes her away from him, the more she wants to have him.

Yuri's eyes wandered on Jinyoung's face. She looked at his perfect eyes, then to his pointed nose... finally, she reached his pink, fragile lips. She remembered how tender Jinyoung kissed her that night at the studio. A smile crept up on her face, but quickly vanished. She knew that Jinyoung wasn't thinking of her when they kissed. She sighed and looked away.

But something in his lips made her look back. She felt like she was being hypnotized. She unknowingly leaned closer to him. Slowly, and carefully, she kissed his lips.

 

 

 

By that time, HyunMi and Channie were standing in front of the room.

"Ready?" Channie asked. HyunMi sighed and nodded. Channie opened the door and both were suprised to see Yuri kissing the sleeping Jinyoung. HyunMi's temper rose and started building little tears in her eyes. Both were speechless as they witness the scene.

As Yuri kept her lips on Jinyoung's. Jinyoung was finally waking up from his sleep. He first felt the lips that were on his, he reached his hands to the person's waist before opening his eyes. Due to that action, HyunMi was surprised that Jinyoung was awake. She felt herself dying in that very spot.

"I... I-I thought... it was only for... publicity... Guess they are a real couple." She wondered. A whimper escaped her mouth. Channie's hand squeezed her shoulder for comfort.  Slowly, Jinyoung opened his eyes and was shocked to see Yuri.

"Yu-yuri" he stuttered. Yuri got startled and leaned away quickly.

"Nabbeun neo." HyunMi muttered as she looked down at the ground. Jinyoung and Yuri were surprised to see her and Channie standing by the door, dumbfounded.

 

 

HyunMi rushed outside, leaving AnJi inside the dorm with the rest of the memberes.

"HyunMi!" AnJi called out, but HyunMi's mind was only thinking of getting away in such a horrible place.

"What was she doing here!?" Jinyoung asked in surprise as he reached for his black hoodie.

"What were you doing kissing Yuri!?" Gongchan shotted angrily. Jinyoung was surprised with the maknae's tone.

"I didn't kissed her okay! She kissed me!" Jinyoung answered in a hurry, forgetting that Yuri was right in front of them. He quickly left the building and searched for HyunMi outside. He placed his hood on, so no one could recognize him. He quickly went to the park since he knew that that's the only place where HyunMi goes to when she's upset.

 

He ran towards the swing and saw a figure in a school uniform. He approached her quietly.

"Nabbeun neo! NABBEUN NEO!" HyunMi yelled and began crying harder.

"You shouldn't rush things" Jinyoung said in a cool tone. But deep inside he's really nervous. HyunMi glared at him and quickly wiped her tears away. She stood up and started to walk away. But Jinyoung caught her wrist. He stayed to act calm.

"Let go of me." HyunMi said in a cold tone. Jinyoung didn't obey and tried to explain.

"What you saw back there--" but he was cut off.

"I don't care what I saw back there." she shot. "I don't care if you don't tell me what's going on with your career. I don't care if you like Yuri that much. I don't care what people think or say about you and Yuri. I don't care if you two are just pretending or not. I don't care... I don't care even if you don't love me anymore." Her words caught Jinyoung off guard. He was completely surprised with her words.

"Then what do you care?" he asked, clueless to where she's heading to. HyunMi just remained silent. She panicked inside since she didn't expect Jinyoung would answer back. But she quickly thought of something.

"I only care for my feelings..." she mumbled. Jinyoung was about to say something else when HyunMi suddenly spoke.

"Can we just end this?" she suddely asked. Jinyoung's heart thumped once, and suddenly he felt like it died.

"W-wae???" Jinyoung stuttered. He was so scared of what will happen next to them.

"Jinyoung..." she cried. "I'm so tired of getting hurt. I know it sounds stupid, since we don't have any relationship. But I'm so tired of it. Every day I dream of us together happily, but everything just turns into a nightmare the time I wake up. You're the first guy I loved. And I don't know if the reason I'm getting hurt is stupid or not. But... I just can't handle it. I always think of something to correct things... but only end up thinking to end all of it." she sobbed.

Jinyoung didn't realized how much he had hurt HyunMi this time. He didn't knew how much she wanted them to be together as a couple. Tears started falling in their eyes. Both stayed silent as the sun sets quietly.

"So..." HyunMi spoke. "Can we end it?" she asked in a shaky voice. Jinyoung shook, but since HyunMi isn't looking at him  she didn't saw. She tugged her wrist from Jinyoung's grip, and started walking away. Jinyoung's feet automatically ran after her, and he stopped her with a tight back hug. He was really afraid of letting her go, and afraid of her leaving him.

"Jae--bal... Ka-kajima" he begged. His voice cracked as he buried his face on her back. By that moment, something familiar flashed in HyunMi's head.

 

 

"Jae--bal... Kajima..." his warm breath tickled my ears. I closed my eyes and let out a loud sigh.

"Let go of me Jinyoung." I said while I tried to pull his arms off of me.

"Please..." he said while still trying to stop me with his hug.

"I need to leave" I said through my gritted teeth.

"Give one good reason why you're leaving me..." he said. I fell silent for a while

"I just.... don't love you anymore" I answered.

 

 

HyunMi shrugged at the dream she once had. She still loves Jinyoung now, very very much... but what will she say?

"I... I don't want to end this-- us." Jinyoung cried. "You're the only girl I love now. No other. You're the girl who brings happiness in my life. I'm really really really sorry for causing you so much pain. I really regret everything. Please don't misunderstand what Yuri and I have--"

"But you already said that you felt something..." HyunMi muttered.

"I was wrong. I don't and never had feelings for her. When Channie asked me that question, I was thinking of you. When we kissed, I was thinking of you. You're the only one I've been thinking. You're the only one I want to be with. The only girl I love." he cried and hugged her more tightly.

"Please... don't leave me" he begged. "Please... don't end it"

"I.... I don't know" HyunMi answered and quietly cried. She thought and thought, but all she was getting was a headache. She pulled Jinyoung's arms away and started to leave again. But Jinyoung was persistent.

 

He spun HyunMi around and wrapped her in his arms, and kissed her passionately. HyunMi was shocked with his action. He continued kissing her, not stopping until she kisses back. He was still crying as he kissed her. Tears were continuously rolling down on their cheeks. He kissed her sincerely, passionately, tenderly. HyunMi softened and gave up. She missed him. She kissed back. She kissed him how much he kissed her. That moment, she knew that Jinyoung still loves her... and only her. When Jinyoung felt her kiss back. He felt really relieved. He held her closer and tighter, and deepened the kiss. Light post lighten the park up, but surprisingly they were the only two in the park. It was really a perfect moment for them to reconcile.

HyunMi stopped, catching her breath. Jinyoung stopped after giving her one last kiss. He rested his forehead on hers and catched his breath.

"Lee HyunMi, please... please don't leave me." he said while panting a bit. "I love you so much."

"I love you too..." she whispered. Jinyoung was so happy and relieved to hear that from her. He felt alive once again, and hugged HyunMi.

 

 

"But..." HyunMi suddenly spoke. Jinyoung pulled away and read her expression. "I'll still be leaving."

"Mwo?" he asked in surprise.

"I came by to tell you guys that I'll be going to New York after graduation, but we ended up here" she said, a bit embarassed of how things got out of hand.

"Mianhae. It's my fault" Jinyoung frowned.

"Ani, it's mine. I shouldn't have been so emotional  back there." she lowered her head. Jinyoung kissed her forehead and look down at her.

"Let's just forget that. Arasseo?" he smiled and HyunMi agreed.

*HyunMi's POV*

 

Hand in hand, we walked back to the dorm. It was already evening, and I left AnJi alone there.

"So, how long will you be gone?" Jinyoung asked for the 6th time as he reached for the door.

"I told you, 4 or 5 years" I chuckled. He opened the door and we stepped in.

"That's long" he pouted. I frowned and said, "I know."

"God! Where have you been!?" AnJi exclaimed once we were at the living room. "I've been worried sick!"

"Mianhae" I bowed at her.

"Omo! They're holding hands again!" Sandeul pointed out. Sharp eyes oppa. Kekeke ^^

"Yah! Are you too???" Baro asked.

"Ani" I answered sadly. "The official date thingy with them are still a fresh topic." I pouted.

"Mianhae" he apologized again and brushed my cheek.

"Yah! The lovey dovey-ness is back!" Sandeul celebrated. I laughed.

I did a 90 degree bow at them. "Sorry for causing trouble a while ago. Mianhae"

"Aish! That's fine!" Baro said and slung his arm around me.

"Let's eat!" Baro exclaimed. "Yah, congratz" AnJi whispered. I blushed and didn't know what to say.

 

"Oh, where's Yuri?" I suddenly asked. Everyone paused and looked at me with strange expressions. "I'm just asking!" I quickly said.

"She left early. Oh yeah, she says she's sorry" Shinwoo answered. I just nodded with understanding.

 

I sat beside Jinyoung in the dining area.

"Yah, mianhae" I whispered to him.

"Wae?"

"I've been so dramatic back their." I said, feeling very embarrassed.

"Ani, that's fine. Actually I was also emotional back there" he said. We both chuckled and gazed into each others eyes and he pecked my cheek.

"YIIEEEE~" everyone shouted. I blushed.

Hi everyone. This chapter is a bit off-character, right? WAHAHA! I'm so sorry for the drama. Hahaha. When I was doing this chapter, I didn't know that I was being so emotional/dramatic. xD Sorry for any mistakes. I'll get to that when I come back. I was planning to update this chapter yesterday, but we had an all-day family bonding. It was extremely awesome! HAHA! I just missed my couzie's. ^^ Hope you enjoy this chapter.
