"This is Goodbye Then?"

Same day...

 

*HyunMi's POV*

 

"HyunMi, time to wake up." I heard someone's voice. It's been a while since that voice was the one to wake me up. I didn't open my eyes and thought that I was just hearing things.

"HyunMi..." he called again, and brushed his hand on my cheeks. Okay, this is not my imagination. He's actually waking me up!

I slowly opened my eyes and looked up at Jinyoung. He was sitting beside me. I tried to sit up, but I didn't had quite manage my weight. My second try, Jinyoung helped me by pulling my arms gently.

"What time is it?" I asked and rubbed my eyes, still half asleep.

"1PM" he simply answered. My eyes popped. Omo. Lunch! D:

"Don't worry, Shinwoo hyung cooked already" he suddenly said.

"A-arasseo." I replied and went to the bathroom. I didn't closed the door since I was just going to wash my face.

 

When I saw my face, I was really shock to see my swollen eyes. I knew it was my fault for crying that hard, so I soon ignored it and continued to washing my face. I turned the faucet off and searched for a towel. I couldn't see my towel anywhere, but suddenly a hand offered a clean face towel. I could tell that it was Jinyoung's smooth, pale skin. I grabbed the towel and dried my face.

"Gomawoyo" I thanked. I continued drying my face.

"HyunMi..." Jinyoung called. Wow, longest conversation so far.

"W-wae?" I responded, feeling a bit awkward. It took him some seconds before answering back

"Mianhae... Jeongmal mianhaeyo..." he apologized. I heard his voice crack while speaking. I stepped out of the bathroom to face him, but he was gone in a flash. I sighed and laid back on my bed. His voice kept on replaying in my head. It was very sad yet sincere... But what did his sorry mean?

"Sorry HyunMi for hurting you?" or "Sorry HyunMi, I like Yuri more."

 

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I didn't want to think about that anymore. It just crushes my heart whenever I think of Yuri and Jinyoung now. But even so, Yuri is still my friend. She's just doing it for Jinyoung's career.

"Still asleep?" Gongchan asked with a smile. I opened my eyes and smiled back.

"Aniyo" I answered. He took my hands and pulled me up.

"Let's eat?" he chimed. I nodded with a smile.

 

After eating, all of us went to the living room and watched some TV. Some shows passed, I noticed Jinyoung was already writing something in his notebook.

"Jinyoung-ssi, what are you writing?" I asked smoothly. Everyone's eyes shot up at me. "W-wae?!" I exclaimed, surprised at their sudden reaction.

"Nothing much/Not much/Don't mind us/ Yeah!" they answered all together, mixing other words up.

I just unsurely nodded and looked back at Jinyoung.

"I-I'm just writing some lyrics" he answered shyly.

"Ah~ Arasseo. I won't disturb you anymore." I said and went back watching "Strong Heart" [A/N: "Strong Heart" (for those who don't know) is a famous variety show. Look it up on yotube , and watch some episodes. I'm sure you'll have your laughs. ;)]

My phone suddenly rang.

"Yoboseyo?" I answered.

"HyunMi~" Aunt MinLi answered back

*Jinyoung's POV*

 

"Yoboseyo?" HyunMi answered her phone.

"Oh. Aunt MinLi, waeyo?" she continued talking to her Aunt, while I continued composing. I was actually surprised and happy that she talked to me first. Does that mean I'm forgiven? *shooks head* Ani. I did something horrible to her and caused her so much pain. She won't forgive me easily.

I focused back on the song. I was thinking hard for the next lyrics, all I have is

"HYUNG!" Baro suddenly shouted at my ear.

"Ah!" I jumped.

"Mianhae! But I just suddenly thought of a cool rap line!" he said excitingly

"Let me hear it!"

"Okay, here goes!" he said, then cleared his throat. "♪ Uh, kajima kajima. Ddok ddok gateun mal--"

"MWO!?!?!?!?!" Baro was suddenly cut off by HyunMi's shout.

"But--!" she said loudly while stretching out her hands like she was stopping someone.  She grunted and closed her phone.

"Wae?" Gongchan I asked before I did.

"Onew's picking me up" she sighed.

"Onew?" Shinwoo repeated.

"I meant, Jinki. It's his new nickname" she rolled her eyes. "Mianhae... She said I need to move out today." she sighed sadly.

"Wae?!" I exclaimed.

"Molla. She just said that I need to move out now" she answered while shaking her head.

"Waaah! HyunMi! Kajima!" Baro exclaimed and hugged her tightly.

"O-oppa... hajima. You're making me cry" she laughed. Her laugh was a bit shaky, and her eyes were already filled with tears. "Ah~!" she looked up the ceiling, avoiding the tears from falling down. "I DON'T WANT TO GO!" she suddenly said out loud.

 

 

 

 

The atmosphere was quite bland, and everyone was silent while waiting for Noona and HyunMi to finish packing.

*knock knock knock!*

"NOOOO~~~!!!" Sandeul yelled. My heart raced fast. Eotteokhe? She'll be leaving. T____T

"False alarm guys!" Shinwoo hyung shouted back. He was the one who opened the door. "Taemin's here" he announced, and Taemin stepped out. I was quite surprise that he was here. After what happened between them... I'm impressed.

"Actually, I'm not alone." Taemin stated. "I'm with Jinki hyung"

Everyone was dumbfounded. HyunMi's actually leaving right now. :(

"Ah~ Last bag!" HyunMi suddenly said and placed the bag along with her other luggages. Andwae~

"Oh. Taemin oppa, why are you here?" HyunMi asked like nothing happened between them

"I'm here with Jinki to help with your bags" he beamed.

"Jinjja?" HyunMi frowned. "Where's Jinki?" she asked, searching for her cousin

"Well... err... He saw some hot girls and--" he was cut off.

"Arasseo..." HyunMi sighed. Sandeul let out a soft chuckle.

"Kaja?" Taemin asked. HyunMi nodded sadly. Andwae~! Kajima!!!

"HyunMi... Kajima" Sandeul pouted. "Mianhae" she frowned

"Ya! If you leave, we might die of hunger!" Baro joked. "Or even worse! FOOD POISONING"

"Cha Sunwoo!" Noona scolded, and HyunMi laughed.

"Why does HyunMi need to move out all of a sudden?" Channi asked Taemin.

"Auntie said to keep it a secret first" he smiled.

"So he's close with her family?" I wondered.

 

*knock knock knock!*

"That's Jinki I guess" Taemin chuckled. Shinwoo was about to get the door when Taemin stopped him. "I'll get it hyungnim" he left the room, and HyunMi sighed heavily.

"Don't be sad HyunMi" Channie comforted.

"I'll miss you guys~" HyunMi said and hugged Gongchan.

"GROUP HUG!!!" Sandeul and Baro shouted with open arms.

"Waaah~" Everyone, except for me, rushed to one another and formed a circle. They were about to hug when Sandeul noticed that I was still standing at my position and just looking at them.

"Hyung, it's not a group hug if you're not going to join us." Sandeul said mischievously. I really wanted to join them, but I was afraid that HyunMi won't like it if I did. Since I really, really wanted to, I looked at HyunMi and observed her expression.

 

 

 

 

She's actually smiling.... Smiling my favorite smile of hers.

 

 

 

I can't help but smile back. I walked towards them and joined. We hugged each other together, it was kinda funny so I chuckled a bit. Then I noticed that HyunMi was looking at me, I looked back at her. God, I miss those warm, sparkling eyes of hers! We stared at each other for some time.

"Yiieeee~" the other members teased when they noticed our stares at each other. All of us pulled away from the hug. HyunMi was blushing a bit, and I knew that I was red as a tomato.

*Taemin's POV*

 

I opened the door and saw Jinki hyung smiling like and idiot. When he saw his smile grew wider, and he wiggled his eyebrows.

"Wae?" I asked, a bit weird out by his expression.

"Yeogi" he threw over a piece of paper at me.

"What's this" I asked before looking at the paper.

"Ji-yeon's number" he winked. "This is YunMi's. SHE'S MINE" he said while holding up another piece of paper.

"Who are they?" I asked in surprise.

"Oh, those were the hot girls I saw a while ago. Kekek" he chuckled.

"Aish. Hyung, I told you I don't want any girls for now." I complained. This was the 5th time he'd done this to me.

"Wae? Jiyeon's also hot. Are you gay or something?" he joked.

"Yah!" I warned him with a much tougher voice. He never wins when we argue.

"Okay! Okay!" Jinki threw his hands up as a sign of early surrender. We went to the living room and caught HyunMi and Jinyoung blushing. I thought they have some misunderstanding? But I guess they're good now...

 

HyunMi and I made up days after all the drama that happened between us. She still shared everything to me, Hyukjae, and AnJi. I thought this jerk likes Yuri?!

Instead of releasing my anger, I let out a heavy sigh.

"Oh, I see" Jinki suddenly spoke. I didn't notice that he'd been observing me. "I like you Taemin. You're a nice guy... But I'm not that easy when it come to my cousin" he said with a serious tone.

"Don't think too much hyung." I sighed. We stood at our position for a while. They kept saying their goodbyes nonstop.

"ASDFGHJKL!" I heard Jinki complain under his breath. I sense that he was growing more and more impatient. I loudly cleared my throat to catch their attention. They paused and finally looked at us.

"Shall we?" Jinki asked HyunMi nicely. HyunMi sighed. It was really obvious she doesn't want to leave.

*HyunMi's POV*

 

We said our last goodbyes while Jinki and Taemin put my bags in the car.

"Annyeong~" I waved a small goodbye at them.

"Kaja." Jinki said. Aish! That was quick. You really want me outta here, don't you Jinki? -__-

"Arasseo" I sighed sadly. We started walking to the parking lot. I didn't notice that the boys followed.

"Annyeong~" Sandeul waved one more time. Jinki had already opened the car's door for me, but I didn't stepped in. I looked at the boys and flashed a smile. They all smiled in return. I each looked at their face.

Damn! I'm gonna miss them sooooooo muuuuch! :(

My stare paused when I finally reached Jinyoung's face. His sharp features caught my eyes, and his warm, bright eye-smile captured my heart.

This pabo... Aish... Miweo (I hate you)... Miweo... MIWEO... but then again... I love you so much...

 

"Bbali" Jinki mumbled lowly for me to hear only. I rolled my eyes and ignored him. I started to run towards Jinyoung. I caught a glimpse of his surprised reaction before hugging him. I hugged him tightly as possible. I sensed he's still in shock. He was frozen for a bit, but I finally felt his arms wrap around my waist. A smile formed on my lips, I was really happy to be in his arms this time... for, I think, the last time.

"This is just... beautiful~" I heard Baro say while wiping fake tears. I chuckled a bit and stood still in our embrace. I don't care if he has another girl that he likes. I just care about how much I love him, and all the happy moments we had together that were completely true.

 

"Oppa... Whatever happens... Whatever I tell you in the future... Please don't take it to heart" I whispered in his ear. He pulled away a bit and looked into my eyes.

"M-mwo?" he asked, confused. I just smiled and pulled away completely. He didn't bother to repeat his question, and just continued to stare at me face. I took 2 steps back and did a 90 degree bow in front of them.

"Thank you for taking care of me, and for all the fun memories together. Jeongmal gomawoyo" I thanked formally.

"Ya, ya! We'll still see each other! Don't be like that!" Baro stated with a nod of agreement from Sandeul. I just giggled and run towards Jinki.

"Drama Queen" he teased. I stuck my tongue out at him before stepping inside the car. He closed the door gently, and I immediately looked at the side mirror. They were waving goodbye. A sad smile curved up my lips. Jinki hopped inside and slowly drove away. Taemin was sitting behind me.

 

When they were out of sight, I sighed and leaned back on my seat.

"You reay for New York?" Taemin asked in a nice way.

"I think so" I blankly answered.

"You should be" Jinki muttered.

 

 

 

Well, I hope everything turns out better once I got to America... It might be just for a couple of months... but who can tell? *weak smile*
