"Did They Really...???"

*Third Persons POV*

 

When they were sure that the teenager was asleep, they gently lay her down inside the van. The man in an expensive-looking suit, and who seems to be the right hand of the boss, pulled out his cellphone from his pocket. He pressed the speed dial.

"Ahjussi, bballi" he ordered the driver. And the attentive driver obeyed, and increased the speed of the vehicle.

"Yoboseyo?" the person on the other line suddenly answered. The right-hand man's shoulders slightly jumped when he heard the man's voice.

"Ah manager-nim, we have her." he answered proudly.

"How about the boys?" his boss asked.

"I sent them a text message coming from HyunMi" he answered with a slight smile of humor on his face

"Arasseo. Good job. Come here quickly." his boss said calmly and hung up.

 

 

 

 

 

They arrived at the SMEnt building. They entered at the back entrance of the building, and quietly carried HyunMi inside Kim Hyunbeon's room. Kim Hyunbeon is no other than SNSD's manager

"Good. You may go now" he ordered his employees.

"Arasseo." they said and bowed in unison. HyunMi was laying peacefully on one of his leathered couch. A huge grin suddenly appeared on his face as he watched her sleeping.

"Tsk tsk tsk. Poor little girl, gonna be heartbroken when she leaves" he said sarcastically, and chuckled in the end. He took a picture from inside his coat and stared at it with a nasty expression

*Jinyoung's POV*

 

"Where is she?" Baro said repeatedly while pacing back and forth.

"May be they're still talking" Shinwoo-hyung said out loud from the kitchen.

"Well that's a long talk" Sandeul joked.

"Many things had happened already, so may be that's why they're taking a long time in discussing" I said calmly, but deep inside I was really nervous and worried. It's already 8PM, she's been out the whole day.

"Hyung... you should call her." Channie said with a very worried tone. Because of that kind of tone, it made me more nervous and worried as well. It already came from Channie, might as well call her.

"Arasseo" I sighed, and reached for my phone. At the same time when I opened my phone, I received a text message from HyunMi

 

 

 

                 From: 예뻐 현미  (Pretty HyunMi)

                       Jinyoung-ssi, I'll be home late. Don't worry about me. Nan gwaenchana.

 

 

 

 

"Jinyoung-ssi?" I mumbled. She doesn't call me Jinyoung-ssi anymore. Hmm... maybe they're still talking.

"She's fine. She said she'll be home late" I told everyone.

"Thank goodness" Baro sighed in relief

"Hmm... Arasseo. Let's eat?" Shinwoo-hyung said while plating the food he cooked.

"Oh no! Hyungie's cooking~!" Sandeul teased.

"Yah! What about my cooking!?" Shinwoo's eyes grew large.

"Ani. They're delicious." Sandeul said and raised his hands up.

"But HyunMi's is more delicious." Baro mumbled playfully.

"Yah! No dinner for you Cha Sunwoo" Shinwoo said while pointing a spoon at Baro.

"I WAS JUST KIDDING!" Baro exclaimed.

"Hyung, I heard that Yuri-noona visited you one night when you were at the recording studio." Channie suddenly mentioned.

"M-m-mwo?" I stuttered. My eyes wandered nervously. My heart began skipping in terror.

"Wae?" he asked curiously. Does he know? O.O

"N-nothing" I stuttered again. I felt my face heating up. I cleared my throat to drain the hotness I was feeling. "L-let's eat." I said and quickly shove a mouth-full of rice in my mouth.

"Hyungie, you're acting quite strange. Did something happen?" Sandeul suddenly said. I coughed uncontrollably, and got choked from the amount of rice inside my mouth.

"Yah." Baro stood up and quickly handed over his glass of water. I quickly took it and gulped everything inside my mouth down to my system.

"W-why would you a-ask something like that?" I asked in surprise. My eyes also grew as I asked.

"We were just asking. You're acting strange hyung" Baro said with a doubting expression.

"N-nothing happened. Aiiish~" I hissed.

"Arasseo" Sandeul said and we all began to eat. But I could feel Channie's cold stare, it made me quite nervous and conscious.

 

 

 

Aiiishh!!! Jinyoung! Act more natural! >.<

*HyunMi's POV*

 

"Waaaah~ such a beautiful place!" I said to myself as I stretched my arms up and inhaling the fresh air. I was sitting on the grass, looking at the dazzling, romantic sunset.

"Mianhae..." someone suddenly spoke. I turned my head around and saw Jinyoung standing beside me.

"Why are you saying sorry?" I asked nicely.

"I'm... I'm leaving you" he said in a low voice.

"M...mwo?" I asked, a bit confused and surprised at the same time.

"I... I'm sorry" he sighed and walked away from me. I stood up and was ready to catch up with him, but it seems like I was too slow and he disappeared right when I turned around.

 

 

 

"asljkjdopjakflji" I started making my waking-up groan. I squinted my eyes and slowly tried to open them

"Oh, manager-nim! Manager-nim, she's starting to wake up" I heard a lady call. I rubbed my eyes and sat up.

"Eodi?" I asked randomly.

"Ah HyunMi-ssi, you're finally awake" a tall guy said with a smile.

"Nugu?" I asked, still half asleep I guess.

"Kim Hyunbeon-imnida. I'm SNSD's manager" he slightly bowed at me. Ah, Kim Hyunbeon... SNSD's manager... MR. KIM!?!??!?! O.O

 

I quit rubbing my eyes and immediately stood up and bowed in apology at the same time with full respect greeting.

"Mianhamnida. Jeoneun HyunMi-imnida" I introduced.

"Ani, it's ok. Please have a seat dear" he gestured politely. I took my seat and so did he on the couch in front of me.

"Mr. Kim... uhh... how did I--" I started, but he suddenly answered.

"Oh, please forgive my employees. I just asked them to pick you up, and I think they scared you instead." he said with an apologetic tone.

"Ye, they really scared me" I said with a bit irritated tone.

"Again, jeongmal mianhamnida. Don't worry, I'll punish them for what they've done" he said.

"Uhmm... So why am I here Mr.Kim?" I asked politely

"I wanted to discuss something with you. Something very important" he stressed out the words. Before I could ask another question, the lady awhile ago interrupted.

"Sir, here's your coffee" she said and placed the cup of coffee on the coffee table in front of us. "Ms. Lee what would you prefer?" she asked me.

"A glass of water is fine" I smiled at her.

"Arasseo" she said and left.

 

"Something very important?" I turned my attention back to Mr. Kim.

"Neh" he sighed and put his head slightly down. His tone was a bit sad.

"W-wae? What's wrong?" I leaned over to see his expression. He was kindda... frowning. Before he could answer, the lady entered the office again and placed my glass of water on the table. I bowed my head as a thank you, she just smiled and left.

"I know that you and Jinyoung have a special relationship" he said and looked me in the eyes. My eyes grew in surprise.

"Eo-eotteokhe?" I stuttered. I was feeling quite nervous.

"Well, I've seen the two of you together and it's really obvious." he let out a small chuckle. I remain silent and just let him finish.

"Let me ask you a question HyunMi" he said and leaned closer. "Do you really love Jinyoung?" he asked seriously.

"Neh. I love him." I didn't hesitate to answer.

"Does he love you?" he asked again. I slowly leaned away and observed his expression. It was completely blank, yet it seems he was hiding something from me.

"N-ne..." I answered, but my tone was a bit unsure.

"I hope he does" he sighed.

"Wha-what do you mean Mr. Kim?"

"Oh my, how will I present it to you? Uhmm, you see... agh. I just can't let you..." he struggled and kept on avoiding my eyes.

"What is it?" I demanded. He paused from moving, then he slowly looked at me. We stared into each others eyes for a while. Then he suddenly sighed.

 

He reached for something inside his coat. He handed over some pictures that were facing down to me. I was a bit hesitant to look at the pictures. He placed them on the table and slid it to my side of the table. I slowly reached over, when my hands were near the pictures I quickly pulled away.

"What are these?" I asked him, avoiding looking at the pictures.

"Just look at them" he said with a low tone. I took some time just looking at the pictures facing down the table. Mr. Kim suddenly stood up and fixed his attire.

"I'll leave you alone for a sec. Arasseo? If you want to know why you're here, you need to look at the pictures." he said. He bowed slightly and left the office.

I just continued staring at the faced-down pictures.

 

Aish! HyunMi! Why are you so scared to look at the pictures!?!?!? >.<

 

 

I glanced at the clock, it was already 8:30PM. Time was flying by fast, and I need to get home early. I sighed and took a deep breath. I quickly grabbed the pictures and faced them upright.

*Third Person's POV*

 

"Wha-what the--" she gasped as soon as she saw the picture. She quickly faced the image back down on the table and looked away. She couldn't believe what she just saw. She looked away from the table, and her heart started to beat randomly fast. Fast enough to make her eyes tear. But she didn't show any weakness, she sucked the tears inside.

"That... that's not what I saw. It's a lie. It couldn't be Jinyoung and Yuri." she thought.

Little that she know, Mr. Kim was watching her from outside. He was peeking through the blinds outside. He was smiling like crazy when he saw HyunMi's expression when she first saw the pictures.

"This is going to work" he mumbled to himself and chuckled. He continued watching her.

 

HyunMi slowly turned her head back to the pictures. She glared at them before she completely took hold of it. She looked at the pictures once again, flipping the next picture quickly.

She was completely dumbfounded by the pictures that she unknowingly dropped them on the floor. As if on cue, Mr. Kim entered the room. When he saw HyunMi's expression, he was completely shocked and saddened but of course he was just acting since he saw everything from outside.

"Now, you know why you're here?" he asked in a low tone. HyunMi didn't move a muscle nor did she spoke. Mr. Kim went to sit beside her. He acted like he was comforting her.

"I'm sorry that I'm the one showing you these. I know it's not right but it was for your own good" he sighed.

"These...." she finally spoke. "These.... are lies" she spoke as if it were a curse. Mr. Kim was a bit shocked.

"What makes you say that?" he asked.

"These... are just plotted pictures. The angles are so precise. These pictures don't prove that they really do have a relationship. These just prove that Jinyoung was a victim of a set-up. And I don't want to be rude, but I think you're behind that plot" she answered with a sly smile.

Mr. Kim wasn't aware that she was this smart. He quickly hid his very shocked emotions and plastered a soft expression. But because Mr. Kim was clever enough to think things ahead, he had a back-up plan.

"The pictures aren't a set-up dear. If you would like to hear the whole story, why won't you ask one of my employees?" he said. She didn't replied, instead she just glared at him. He took her silence as an approval, and called his employee.

 

 

"HyunMi-ssi this is Kwon Yoo-chun, the employee who captures the pictures. He is also Yuri’s cousin” Mr. Kim introduced the nice-looking man beside him.

“Annyeonghaseyo HyunMi-ssi” he greeted HyunMi. As her response, she bowed and smiled at him.

“Why did you call me manager-nim?” he asked Mr. Kim

“I want you to tell her what happened to Jinyoung and Yuri that night” he told Yoo-chun. Mr. Kim was trying to hide his excitement, but there was something in his voice that little caught HyunMi’s attention.

“Jinjja? Wae?” Yoo-chun asked in surprised.

“She’s… Jinyoung’s girlfriend” Mr. Kim said slowly. Yoo-chun’s eyes widened and turned to HyunMi. HyunMi was a bit embarrassed with the word “girlfriend” since it’s not true… yet.

“Oh… uhmm… Mianhae” Yoo-chun sincerely apologized to HyunMi.

“Wae?” HyunMi asked.

“Let’s take our seat” Mr. Kim gestured. Yoo-chun sat right next to Mr. Kim on the other couch.

“Here goes~” Yoo-chun said

 

*Yoo-chun narrating*

She dragged me along at a mall near the recording studio of WMEnt. She said she wants to buy someone a special gift. I really didn’t want to but she was too persistent, so I went along. While we were strolling along, she found a nice looking scarf for males.

“Yoochun-ah, is this alright?” she asked, and quickly wrapped it around my neck.

“Y-yah! Yuri-ah, are you planning to give this to your boyfriend” I joked around.

“Well…” she started playing with her nails. “He’s not my boyfriend yet”

“Aish!”

“What do you think?” she giggled.

“It’s comfy and light” I answered honestly.

“Perfect! Yoochun-ah can you drive me to WMEnt's recording studio?" she asked with a big smile.

“Wae?" I asked without any care.

“I’m gonna give it to him tonight.” She said.

“Arasseo” I said, I didn’t had any plans so I just said yes. After claiming the gift, we instantly went to the recording studion.

As soon as we got there she left first, she was really excited to give the gift to Jinyoung-ssi. I was left in the car that time. Suddenly I thought of an evil idea. I snuck towards the building and looked for the room they were in. I checked every room except for one. I heard Yuri giggle from inside the room. I slowly peeked inside and I caught Jinyoung leaning closer to Yuri.

“This is some great blackmail for Yuri-ah” I thought. So I quietly took some pictures.

 

*End*

 

 

"Before she could see me taking pictures, I fled and went back inside the car" he finished.

"Ji-Jinyoung was the one who leaned first?" HyunMi asked in disbelief.

"Ahh... ye. Mianhae. I didn't know that Jinyoung-ssi had a girlfriend that's why I didn't scold Yuri" he apologized again.

"How come... How come the angles were so precise?" HyunMi asked curiously.

"Yoo-chun here is a photographer. A skilled one indeed." Mr. Kim said. Yoo-chun smiled at his manager's complement.

HyunMi wanted to cry so hard. Her heartbeat was utterly fast, building up tears in her eyes. She didn't want to cry in front of respected people so she kept the conversation going.

"W-why did you want... to... blackmail... Y-Yuri?" HyunMi asked, pausing whenever she was about to give in.

"She's my closest cousin. It was only for fun" he answered nicely.

"How... how co-me, you h-had the pictures?" I asked Mr. Kim.

"He was careless enough to leave his cellphone open on the images while he was working" Mr. Kim chuckled a bit.

 

"Geurae? Look at the time. I need to get going." HyunMi said and stood up. He bid goodbye at them.

"Oh, HyunMi-ssi I'll drive you home. It's late and it's a long way back" Yoo-chun offered. HyunMi was really surprised and upset that she couldn't think straight. She just nodded and flashed a sad smile.

*HyunMi's POV*

 

Jinyoung.... kissed Yuri... Eotteokhe? How can he--

 

"Mianhae. I'm... I'm leaving you" Jinyoung said

 

"My dream..." I whispered.

"Mwo?" Yoo-chun asked when he noticed my mouth opened.

"Nothing" I answered in a whisper.

"HyunMi-ssi." he said. I looked at him. He took a quick glance at me then back to the road. "HyunMi-ssi, I'm sorry for what happened. I really didn't mean anything in your relationship with Jinyoung-ssi."

"Ani. You don't need to be sorry." I gave him an assuring smile.

"Doesn't it hurt? I mean, to get cheated?" he asked. He tried to ask in a polite way.

"Ne. Neomu neomu... neomu neomu appayo. But... I'm not his girlfriend" I smiled sadly.

"Mwo?!" Yoochun asked in surprise.

"It's a long story" I said, and he just nodded with understanding.

 

We finally arrived at the dorm. We both got out of the car.

"Gomawo Yoochun-ssi" I bowed and bid goodbye.

"Oh, wait! HyunMi-ssi." he called. I turned around and saw him handing a brown envelop to me.

"It's the pictures. Those are the only copy. I'm sure of it. I also deleted it in my cellphone" he said with a slight smile.

"Why are you giving these to me?" I asked in confusion

"Even though Mr. Kim is my manager, I don't trust him with this kind of things. I'm giving this to you so you can burn it safely." he smiled at me.

"Gomawoyo Yoochun-ssi. Uhmm... Yoochun-ssi, please don't tell Yuri and Jinyoung that I know." I pleaded.

"Wae?"

"I have my reasons" I answered.

"Arasseo. Good Night HyunMi-ssi" he bid goodbye

"Drive safely" I waved goodbye as he drove out the parking lot.
