"HyunMi's Moving Out"

*HyunMi's POV*

 

"HyunMi!" Aunt MinLi exclaimed and gave me a tight bear hug.

"Auntie!" I said in surprise.

"How are you dear? I missed you and your birthday. Mianhae."

"Gwenchana. It's fine Auntie. Uhmm... why are you here?"

"Well, my business trip ended earlier than I've expected. So we were all sent home." she chimed.

"Oh..."

"HYUNMI! DON'T LEAVE US!" Sandeul said, nearly kneeling down on the floor.

"Mwo?" I asked, confused.

"She's here to pick you up." Unnie explained. My eyes popped even more.

 

I don't want to leave! I want to stay here! I grew very close to them, I don't know if I can easily leave Auntie! Let me stay~~~!

 

"Ye. So, bballi! Bballi! The cab will be here soon" Auntie said, spanking my butt lightly. Skinships. Pssh~

"Auntie..." I whined a bit. But she didn't seem to hear. I went to my room and started packing. The boys entered the room with their sad expressions.

"Don't be sad" I sadly smiled.

"HyunMi-ah!" Channie exclaimed and hugged me. Aigoo~

"Aish~ Don't make me cry!" I chuckled.

"HyunMi~!" Sandeul and Baro joined the hug.

"Aigoo~" I chuckled again, avoiding to cry.

"HyunMi-ah!" Shinwoo-oppa exclaimed and fake cried. It made me laugh. He joined the group hug as well.

"Aigoo. You all look so sweet together!" Auntie said while peeking through the door.

We all flashed a big smile at her. But she didn't seem to understand why. AUNTIE! I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE!

She took her cellphone out and started reading a text message.

"Eh-eh! Bballi! Jinki's already at our place." she hurried me.

"Why is he here? I thought he goes to school far from Seoul." I curiously asked. Lee Jinki is my cousin. He is Aunt MinLi's only son.

"It's their vacation" she answered.

"Mwo!? Is it too early to have Christmas vacay?!" I asked, shocked.

"Well, he's in college"

"But still--"

"BBA-LLI!" she demanded.

"Aish. Arasseo." I gave up. College students are so unfair. >.<

I started packing up quickly. The boys helped me in fixing my things up as well.

"I'll come back tomorrow for Spongebob" I said while looking at my big Spongebob stuff toy, that was a gift from Baro and Sandeul.

"Arasseo" they sighed sadly.

 

 

 

We were in the living room, but one was missing. We said our goodbyes to each other. When Auntie and I were about to leave, Jinyoung entered the room. His left jaw had a bruise and the corner of his lips were bleeding.

"Oppa/Jinyoung!" the boys and I exclaimed.

"What happened?!" I worriedly asked.

"Uhmm... This is nothing."

 

 

"Jinyoung" I heard Taemin called.

 

 

"Taemin..." I whispered. I looked back at him, he had a sad smile on his face. It crushes my heart seeing him smile like that. I am heart broken because of him, but I still want to leave here and take care of him.

"Omo! Youngie, what happened!?" Unnie exclaimed and approached Jinyoung. She tried to touch Jinyoung's injuried but he quickly jerked.

"A-Auntie, go ahead. I'll follow as soon as I can." I said without hesitation.

"Jinjja?" she asked.

I nodded and handed her my bags.

"Okay. Go home early, arasseo?"

I nodded. She left the dorm.

*Jinyoung's POV*

 

I sat on the living room couch. Everyone was there except for HyunMi, who was getting an ice pack.

"She still loves you even you hurt her." Noona suddenly said. It shot my heart. I tbegan beating faster. I felt a smile appearing on my face. Sandeul punched me on the shoulder lightly.

"What are you smiling about hyung? She's stilll hurt." he scolded. Okay, being scolded by the dongsaeng. It's embarrassing, really. =.=

My smile faded. He was right. She's still hurt... but she's still caring and worried about me.

"Oppa" she said and handed over the ice pack.

"Gomawo" I said in a deep voice. She was holding the first aid kit in her other hand.

"What's that for?" I asked her.

"For your lips" she said and brushed her thumb on the corner of my lip. My heart was in a fast state. I felt my breathing can't keep up with my hearts pace. She pulled her thumb away and showed me. It was stained with blood. Wow, Taemin really punched me hard.

 

She sat by my side. Channie and the others suddenly stood up and left us alone in the living room. She began applying the medicine on me. I jerked quickly when it touched my face.

"Mianhae! Mianhae!" she panicked, quickly pulling her hands away from my face.

"Ani, it's okay. I was just startled." I said and let her apply the medicine again.

While she was still taking care of my injuries, I started the conversation.

"Why are you still taking care of me?" I asked in a low voice. She paused when she heard my question, then continued applying more medicine.

"Oppa, even though I'm hurt that doesn't mean I already hate you" she chuckled a bit. I was shock. It was like Noona's words from last night.

"But... you will hate me... right?" I asked. She shook her head.

"Ani. I won't hate you now or even tomorrow, or even the next day and the day after that, and the day after that, AND the day after that, OR EVEN..." she joked. She looked at me with a smile. We both laughed.

I can't get it why she can still joke around with me like that. I've hurt her so much. She's really different.

"But..." she suddenly became serious. "I might not love you anymore."

My head shot up and I looked at her with surprised eyes.

"I mean, I might not love you like this anymore. But I'll still surely love you as my Oppa" she gave me an assuring smile.

 

NO! I don't want that to happen! HyunMi! NO!

 

"Wae?" I asked.

"Because you already have Yuri, and I..." she trailed off.

"And you have... Taemin?" I question-stated.

She looked at me in shock. Her cheeks bursted. I missed her blush. But it hurts to see her blush because of someone else.

She began cleaning the table and closing the first aid kit.

"You're fine now Oppa. Jalga" she suddenly said and stood up. She walked quickly to the boys and said goodbye. The boys followed her but I signaled them to stop. She was already near the door when I caught her hand. She paused and turned around.

 

"HyunMi..." I said.

"Don't worry Oppa, I'll be fine" she said in a different tone than awhile ago.

"HyunMi, can you promise me one thing?" I suddenly said without thinking. Shoot! What will I say next!?

She looked at me with a curious look.

"What is it?" she asked.

It took me a long time to think and say the right words.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Promise me that you won't change your feelings for me. Please?"

She looked up to me, shocked with what I was asking.

"Wae?"

"Just... promise me. Promise me, in 5 months that will come, you'll still love me like today, and like before. Please." I pleaded.

"And after 6 months?" she asked.

"Then you're free to... love someone else." I stated. The condition just stabbed my heart. But it's only fair right?

 

It's only right. After I finish my obligations for the couple-up thing, I can tell HyunMi everything.

 

If you're wondering why I, and even the boys, can't tell her now it's because it was in the contract. Only members of the group, and the staffs are allowed to know the truth. If one violates, he/she might get fired or suspended in activities. It's a supid contract, I know. And I'm the dumbest person to agree on it. >.<

 

 

 

"Promise me?" I asked, going back to the conversation with HyunMi.

It took her a long time to answer. I still held her hand. This might be the last time I'll be holding her hand.

She suddenly nodded. I couldn't see her eyes since it was blocked by her hair. A smile was creeping up a little on my face.

"I promise." she stated.

"Jinjja?!"

"Ne."

I hugged her tightly. I was really relieved to hear her agree. She didn't hugged back, and she broke the hug.

"I need to go now. Annyeong" she said and bowed.
