"MiMin Couple"

*HyunMi's POV*

     Next day... School...

"Yaah~ What happened to you? You look like a zombie~" Hyukjae told me

"I woke up from my study table. It seems I was too tired last night while finishing my homework that I fell asleep there." I explained, yawning.

"Hey gu-- Woah~ HyunMi-ah! What the?!" Taemin arrived and was just shocked at my appearance.

Do I really look that bad?

I searched for my mirror in my bag. Sheesh~~~! I really look horrible~!! My hair was all dry and a bit frizzy; I looked pale; The eyebugs under my eyes were very visible.

"AGH!" I whined. I was really not in the mood to fix myself up. I still feel tired even I had slept last night.

"Ya, why are you like that?" oppa asked.

"I'm just TOO tired!" I said, frowning, "I've never been this tired in my whole life~"

Oppa, put his arm around my shoulder, "Ya, it's okay. You can do it HyunMi-ah" he said while fixing my hair a bit and smiled a warm smile. My favorite smile of his. Suddenly, murmurs were audible now

"Waaah~ The MiMin couple looks sweet~"

"HyunMi-ssi is so lucky with Taemin-oppa"

"I envy her"

"Hope the MiMin couple is for real!"

"Gosh~! Hope they break up soon!"

"Eoddeokhe!? We're not even a couple, how can we break up?!" I thought to myself.

I'm still not used with the whole "MiMin couple" thingy. Psssh~ This just started because of Taemin-oppa. The nerve~ =.=

FLASHBACK!

One day at the cafeteria...

Taemin and I were the 1st to arrive in the cafeteria than Hyukjae and AnJi. I started to do my homework, while oppa just listened to his iPod. Minutes passed and they're still not here... And the hell!? I'm still on the same question!

"Waaah~ This is impossible!" I complained

"Wae?" Taemin asked.

"It's this stupid problem in Math" I continued on complaining. I felt people staring at me. Well... I don't care. I'm really frustrated.

"Here. Let me help." Taemin said in a sweet and warm voice, but it was in a loud voice. Everyone, especially the girls who has a "crush" on Taemin, looked. People started whispering. And the girls glared at me. It was scary... but who cares? Kekeke >:)

Time passsed, Hyukjae and AnJi hasn't arrive still, and Taemin finished the problem.

"Woah~ Oppa! You're so awesome!" I cheered loudly.

"Yah, it's not the question that is stupid. It's just you. Pabo" he teased and chuckled.

I heard someone murmuring, "Oppa? Plus different kind of closeness??? Defenetly a couple." My eyes widened. Did I heard that right? Me and Taemin??? A couple?!

HAHAH! Yeah right! They're just like AnJi and Hyukjae. Pssh~ some people these days.

I noticed Taemin grinning to himself. Okay, a bit creepy. o.o

"Wae?" I asked

"Play along okay?" Taemin whispered in my ear and winked at me. I just gave him a unsure and confused expression.

"Ya~ Jagiya~ I'm hungwy~ Let's eat~" Taemin suddenly said in a loud voice. I chuckled at the way he spoke. Haha! Okay that was too cute for him. He doesn't do aegyo though. Kekek ^^

Wait~ This he just call me JAGIYA!?!?!

"Mwo!?" I asked in surprise, "who are you calling Jagiya?!"

He pinched my cheek, "You silly. Kekek. Don't you like it? Or do you prefer Yeobo?" he continued. What the hell is wrong with him!? Does he want to have a serious injury here?!

He suddenly whispered, "I told you. Play along!"

I chuckled at his prank. He's too evil. "Ne~ I prefer yeobo" I giggled. He chuckled at my answer. Or... well... he wanted to laugh hard but that would spoil the prank. HAHA!

The cafeteria was filled with murmurs,

"Jagiya!? Yeobo!?"

"So, the almighty Taeminnie fell in love with one of the popular kids here in school. Not a surprise"

"Waah~ I've never imagine they'll be together! They're so sweet~"

"When did they start dating!? Eotteokhe!?"

"That girl's gonna be sorry" (creepy threatening way)

Hearing those things makes me want to laugh even more! But the threat... Let's just see who's going to be sorry. >:)<

Taemin suddenly cleared his throat and straighten up.

"Wae?" I asked

"They're here with creepy smiles on their face" he told me

"Ya~! Look at we have here~ If it isn't the MiMin couple" Hyukjae teased.

"MiMin couple?" Taemin and I said in unison

"Ne~ the students that came out of the cafeteria were spazzing about this "MiMin couple" and we just asked who was it. We were really surprised. So you two are actually dating. Ne, yeo-bo?" AnJi answered and teased as well.

"Wait. Who said anything about a MiMin couple?" I asked

"It came from rumors I suppose" HyukJae was the one who answered.

"Ya! Oppa! This is your fault!" I slapped Taemin's arm.

He laughed, "HAHA! Wae!? I'm not the one who wanted to be called yeobo"

"Ya~ Well, I wasn't the one who shouted "Ya~ Jagiya~ I'm hungwy~" did I?!" I shotted back. He remained silent.

"Ooooh~ Lovers' quarrel~" Hyukjae started. I glared at him and he looked away.

END OF FLASHBACK!

Since then... we're known as the MiMin couple. -.- A bit annoying sometimes, really. Glares over here. Whispers over there.

"Excuse me, HyunMi-ssi? Taemin-ssi?" We both looked at the cute junior HS girl... she was familiar.

[NOTE: Taemin, HyunMi, Hyukjae, and AnJi are seniors. kkk ^^]

"Ne? What is it hoobae?" Taemin answered.

"Can I talk with you in private?" she politely asked.

School garden...

"Annyeong-haseyo~ Gayoung imnida. I'm the host for this Friday's dance competition" the girl introduced.

Now I know why she looked so familiar. She's the one practicing some lines in the dance studio.

"Annyeong" Taemin and I simply said.

"Why did you want to talk to us?" Taemin asked nicely.

"It's just... well, you see.... We asked some students that will watch the competition of what would they like for a special performance. Since your love team, MiMin couple, is very popular now. Many wanted for you guys to sing a duet. Can you do it?" Gayoung explained.

Taemin and I were quiet for a while. Are we really that popular to be requested to sing a duet together?

"It's fine with me" I simply said and smiled at Gayoung, who seems happy with my answer. "And we're NOT a couple" I added. Giving real emphasis on the word "NOT". Oppa chuckled.

"Geurae!? But you both look sweet and good together~" Gayoung said in a cute and surprised voice.

"Gomawoyo" Taemin bowed.

"Ya~! What are you thanking for?" I said, surprise with his response. Really!? What's wrong with oppa!?

"Kidding~" he told me and flashed my favorite smile of his.

"The truth is, we are really not a couple. It was my plan. When people started whispering about us I wanted to see how far things will go... for my prank and rumors I mean. It's just a simple joke. But not to offend or hurt anyone at least." Taemin explained to Gayoung, and continued, "For the duet thing, sure."

"Jeongmal? That's great~ well, be prepared for some questions as well." she said cheerfully and ran off

"Great~ The MiMin couple will have a little interview as well" I said sarcastically. Oppa locked his arms around my neck.

"Yeobo, don't you want that? Exposure?" he acted again. I hissed at him and he just laughed.

Agh~ I think I like the cold-blooded Taemin more~ Oppa!
