You've heard about Pledis, haven't you? Obviously, the famous company that has many popular artists under its arms, like long-lasting After School, always unique and innovating NU'EST, monster rookies Seventeen, and obviously the queen Son Dam Bi. However, do you remember Pledis' last year?
2014 is commonly entitled as Kpop's worst year at the record, and Pledis wasn't excluded from the same catastrophic year. They lost Hello Venus, After School's comeback in 2013 was a complete flop, NU'EST also flopped, and  Son Dam Bi was just on the dungeon. The company was just going downhill. Pledis decided to debut their already popular trainees Seventeen, along with a reality show. This was a good move from Pledis and all their fans unofficially called  SM17S finally had what they wanted, and Seventeen also gained a lot of new fans. Their debut could be considered as a complete success. However, the success of their debut wasn't enough yet, and the CEO, Han Sung Soo, had this in consideration already, so he created a foolproof plan right after giving the Seventeen boys their beloved rings.
In January 2015,  Han Sung Soo got his most talented female trainees , and announced them as brand new girl-group Nalgae, after 6 years of not debuting a girl-group. Nalgae means 'Wings' in Korean, which means that they're some sort of the company's wings. Now the question is: will Nalgae be able to fly their way up into the industry?
