This is my second fanfiction.  The description probably makes this fanfiction seem like a melodrama, but as an avid fan of Korean Dramas, I can say that's a negative.  I am writing about many very real issues in this story, while also writing about a bond that forms through a group of boys over time.  But I like comedy, and I hate sadness.  This is all about remembering sad pasts, but also moving on and becoming happier despite the obstales encountered on the way. 

BASIC BEGINNING PLOT SYNOPSIS:  As young boys, Choi Kyung-soo and Lee Jong-In were best friends in the orphanage that they grew up in.  Both abandoned there as young children, they formed a strong bond throughout their stay.  After both were adopted, they exchanged their favorite possessions, necklaces that had the first letter of their last initial on it.  Surnames changed, Do Kyung-soo and Kim Jong-In moved to live extremely different lives.  Now, both are 19 years old and are starting as freshmen in college.  Them, along with their respective groups of five other friends, join a club called "The Music Club" at their college, not knowing what to expect.  They connect through their love of music.  Past wounds are healed in this journey of moving on, forgiveness, and loyalty.

PLEASE DO NOT THINK THAT I AS THE AUTHOR AM NOT TAKING THESE ISSUES SERIOUSLY, AS I HAVE EXPERIENCED MOST OF THEM.  THIS STORY WILL EVENTUALLY LEAD TO SOME HOMOUAL RELATIONSHIPS. (WHICH I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED HAHA) 

CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS

D.O.+ FRIENDS

Do Kyungsoo (D.O.): A quiet and jumpy student with a strong work ethic.  Aspires to own a restaurant, but is attending college so he has a backup plan.  Due to the abuse of his adoptive step-father, he has extremely low self confidence.  Joins the club on a whim because all of his other friends are doing it.  Whites of eye rich. Vocalist.

Park Chanyeol (Chanyeol): D.O.'s present best friend.  Lives life happily, with a smile always on his face.  Lived a sad past similar to that of Kyungsoo.  They are eachothers' confidants, and they are the only ones who truly understands eachothers' sorrow.  Became friends with D.O. during senior year of high school when the two were forced to participate in a group, eventually telling their life stories.  Loves Kyungsoo like a brother...or something else?  Considered to be a "Happy Virus," if he is smiling, other people are too. Rapper.

Kim Minseok (Xiumin): Kyungsoo's next door neighbor.  Kyungsoo escapes to Minseok's house whenever things get bad at his own house.  Treats Kyungsoo like a real brother, has gotten in fist fights with Kyungsoo's adoptive step-father.  Fiercly protective of Kyungsoo and has a heart of gold, while still being a strong but silent man.  Looks like a baozi, acts like a man. Vocalist.

Kim Joonmyeon (Suho): Elected the president of the Music Club.  Has the ambition to become a leader in the future, with a government position.  Has a clear head and always presents good ideas in stressful situations.  King of derp faces. Leader.

Oh Sehun (Sehun): Maknae of the Music Club, skipped a grade in high school.  Underneath his "I dont give a " personality, there seems to be something more.  May or may not have a lisp. Rapper.

Huang Zitao (Tao): Student who moved from China to South Korea a few years ago.  Goes to school to eventually become a martial arts instructor.  Looks sinister and deadly, but has the personality of a pre-teen.  Likes to hang out with D.O. as they share many common interests.  Tries to show off, ends up failing almost every time. Rapper.

KAI + FRIENDS

Kim Jongin (Kai): Lived in America for 6 years after adoption.  Lives happily, but longs to meet his childhood friend again.  Very protective and jealous, has a nice life with family.  Looks flirty and cute but can also have a serious side.  Dancer.  (Can also sing and rap proficiently)

Wu Yifan (Kris): Kai's present best friend.  Native to Canada, has Chinese blood.  Moved back to South Korea at the same time as Kai, the two learned Korean together while speaking in English together.  Very manly and cool image, but is actually a huge closet dork.  Says things are not his style when they definitely are.  Likes to roll like a buffalo, and is Suho's second in command leader of the club.  Actually has a very kind and caring heart, treats club members like family.  Dancer, Vocalist, Rapper, Visual. (According to him)

Xi Luhan (Luhan): Man with a semi-feminine appearance.  Was bullied because of that during his child and teenagerhood.  Currently under the protection of friends and club members.  No one dares to mess with him anymore.  Makes really funny facial expressions, is one of the oldest club members.  Becomes close with Sehun and Xiumin.  Vocalist. 

Zhang Yixing (Lay): Attending medical school at the insistance of his parents.  Real dream is to pursue his love of music.  Perpetually confused, is practically flunking out of most of his classes.  He is a chaebol 3rd son, and wants to break free from his lifestyle.  Tends to use "unicorn healing" power instead of practical doctoring methods.  Has deep dimples.  Is a dancer and vocalist.

Kim Jongdae (Chen): Practical joker who thrives off of adrenaline.  Considered to be a "troll."  Likes to live on the edge after recovering from terminal illness as a child/ young teen.  Just desires to be accepted by his friends.  Is notable for his incredibly smooth voice and spectacular vocal range.  Has upturned lips that make him unique in appearance.  Vocalist.

Byun Baekhyun (Bacon): Struggled with depression for years before meeting his friends.  Always felt inadequate, now likes to lightly pick on others as a show of affection.  This behavior includes mimiking like a parrot.  When he is sad, he says his catchphrase, "Ohhh Kkaebsong." Vocalist.

This fanfiction is something that I thought up.  If it resembles the works of others it is purely coincidental.  I do not own EXO, its' members, or its' music.  (But dang I wish I did, because OT12 would still be real today.)
