Seohyun learned very early the difference between herself and others. She learned at a very young age that not everyone could see the things she saw, not everyone could feel the things she felt. It was something common in her family though, something that her mother had worked hard to help her suppress. It wasn’t easy, but it was manageable. Just when Seohyun thought that she would be ok, he came along and completely changed everything.

Spirits were supposed to be terrifying. They were supposed to be demonic in nature, beings that set out to do harm and cause pain most of time, but this one was the complete opposite. This one wanted to be her friend. This one refused to go away no matter what. It wasn’t ideal…. But it wasn’t terrible Seohyun decided at some point. He became her secret, she liked to think of him as a burden although he was the furthest thing from it.

Nature though, is very clear on its one rule: the world must always be at balance. Things that upset that balance were not destined to last long and must in one way or another disappear.
