Irene snuggled to her sleeping girlfriend that morning, feeling a little restless. It was usual for Seulgi to have her own schedules. But for today, the Red Velvet leader wasn’t keen on letting her go on her own.

There was this nagging feeling inside her.

That girlfriend intuition that kept haunting her since she woke up

“Uhn…” Seulgi stirred and slowly opened her eyes.

The worry in her eyes was quickly replaced by a genuine eye smile. She didn’t want Seulgi to ask her about it. Irene didn’t want to look like an over clingy girlfriend if she wasn’t as it is.

“Wake up sleepy head. We have stuff to do today.”

“A little more Hyunnie…” Seulgi turned to her and buried her head on Irene’s chest.

She pulled the older girl closer and snored softly in a matter of seconds.

Those trained eyes watched Seulgi’s lips move and felt every intake of breath. The softness of her hair made Irene close her eyes.

Maybe a few minutes wasn’t going to be too bad.

Irene lowered herself and gave Seulgi’s lips a light peck, letting it linger before letting the stillness take her to sleep as well..

A few minutes in bed holding Seulgi were definitely not too bad at all.

With her schedule completed, Irene spent the rest of the day with Wendy doing whatnots to pass the time. She missed Seulgi but they had separate schedules. Obviously despite her needy heart, the Red Velvet leader had to understand. The other member, Joy, had been meaning to take a short trip to her parents so the dorm was empty when they arrived. The duo decided to do some cleaning. It was more efficient since the kids in the house were all out.

It was already half past eight when Irene received what was practically the last message from her girlfriend that day.

Her palms were all sweaty.

Seulgi’s could but never hers.

“Is everything alright, Unnie?”

“Was the schedule really that hectic? Seulgi hasn’t called or messaged me for a while now.”

“I’m sure they are just having fun Unnie.”

Irene sighed and was treated by a new batch of cookies that Wendy made. It was Seulgi’s favorite. Her heart pounded when those fell on the floor as Wendy slipped.

“Aish! Seungwan, you have to be careful. Was there any puddle there?” Irene searched for any cuts or bruises on Wendy.  Safe to say, their hamster was alright and perfect.

“I don’t think so Unnie. Seulgi’s cookies!” The 94 liner pouted and Irene could only smile sadly.

“It’s okay Seungwan. We can make another batch.”

“But it won’t be ready when she gets here. My bear…”

Irene smiled and helped Wendy up. It was a normal thing now, at least that endearment for the members. Getting jealous or mad over it wasn’t even a thing for Irene if it’s the members.

They were after all, family.

A few more hours and with Irene’s help, the cookies for the Red Velvet Bear were done.

Now was left was to wait for the Bear herself.

Were they caught in traffic?

Irene tried to call her girlfriend only to be transferred to her voice mail.

She was about to call their manager when she heard the knob turning.

Finally, Seulgi and Yeri were home!

She got up from the sofa and immediately walked over to the door to greet the two. To her surprise, it was their manager.
