It was a quiet ride to the restaurant. Joohyun, Seulgi’s girlfriend, would smile at them through the rear view mirror making things less awkward. The observe Seulgi whose eyes are fixed on the scenery instead of the road.

Where these two always this quiet?

They could actually hear the car’s engine as well as the air-conditioning with how soundless the two were.

It was a good thing Joohyun seemed to be in a good mood. But then again, Wendy thought Seulgi could start a conversation from them to get to know the older girl better.

Perhaps with Joohyun being Seulgi’s first serious girlfriend, Wendy’s best friend didn’t really know what to do.

Wendy looks at Joy and they both understood.

Seulgi needs some slapping.

They arrive at the restaurant briefly discussed by the couple as they went their way.

Wendy observed how awkward Seulgi was, refraining from going to her girlfriend and just walking along side with Yeri.

She moves and greets Joohyun with a smile.

“I apologize for my friend Unnie. She can be dumb sometimes.”

“It is the first time we have you with us. I suppose she is nervous for me. I was but I guess I feel better that you are happy for us.” Joohyun replies as they watched Seulgi stumble on the stairs.

“Excuse me while I check on her.”  The older girl runs towards Seulgi and the latter merely nods as if confirming she was okay.

Wendy frowns as her best friend leaves her girlfriend by the steps.

“Aish Kang Seulgi, when will you learn?”

They carefully take their seats. Seulgi sat in between Joohyun and Yeri while Wendy sat across with Joy. Placing their orders, Wendy watched as Seulgi tended to the maknae while her girlfriend carefully chose their meal in the menu. Joohyun says something and it was the only time Seulgi would spare the girl a look. It seemed this didn’t bother Joohyun. But Wendy knew better.

She had been with Seulgi since they were still wearing diapers.

“Are we done with the orders?” She asks as Joy turned to her with a questioningly.

It only takes a rise from her eyebrow for her girlfriend to understand that it was nothing to worry about.

Joohyun nods with a smile while Seulgi continues to ignore her girlfriend’s presence.

Wendy knows Seulgi hit the jackpot with Joohyun.

She should do better.

“Seulgi can you help me out a second?” Wendy stood up and Seulgi just had that ‘what’s going on’ face.

“Seulgi…” She repeats with a stern voice.

You don’t hear Wendy use that tone.

So Seulgi stands up and simply smiles at Joohyun to say it’s fine.

Once they were in the restroom, Wendy gives Seulgi a knock on the head.

“Bad Seulgi!”

“What did I do?” Seulgi frowns as she nursed what could be a bump on her head.

Wendy’s arms do pack some power and her swing does hurt.

“Why can’t you be a normal human being and be sweet to your girlfriend?”

“But she’s fine with it…”

“I know that!” Wendy knocks Seulgi by the head again making her wince.

“Stop it. It hurts.”

“Then start treating her better. Be chivalrous. Be sweet. She deserves that. Have you met her friends yet?”

“No…” Seulgi replies as she tried to soothe what seemed to be a definite bump on her temple.

“Then how could they like you if you act all awkward and uncaring towards their friend?”

“But Hyunnie said it’s fine as long as we love each other.”

“That’s not the point. You would want others to know you do love her as much as they do or more.”

“But…” Seulgi starts but Wendy stops her.

“Do you wan
