There was squealing in the living room and Irene was practically surprised (not that any loud noise doesn’t surprise her).  There were only three of them at the dorm and the maknaes were definitely making some racket because of the show they were watching. Wendy and Seulgi were at their schedule and would not return till after at least 11PM.

“Girls, quiet down. It’s late. You don’t want to disturb the neighbors.” She scolded as she finished fixing the table for their late dinner.

The duo giggled as they took their seats.

Irene watched them happily snicker and push each other.

“Unnie…”

“Hmmm?” Irene sat and looked up to Yeri.

“When did it all start really? I mean you and Seulgi-Unnie…”

“What do you mean?”

Yeri thought for a moment trying to recall previous conversations.

“Did you two meet before training together?”

“What’s with the question?”

“You see they have these stuff posted on the internet today, it’s like even before you officially trained.”

“And?” Irene took a bite listening to the story.

“Here Unnie. Did you reply to Seulgi-Unnie here?”

Irene squint her eyes, trying to read the details of the message.

Irene smiled and then replied.

“I don’t really remember.”

“Unnie… You’re ruining the fairy tale…” Yeri whined while Joy flicked the maknae’s forehead.

Yeri pouted as Joy ruffled her hair.

“I don’t really remember. That was really a long time ago. Who knows how many Seulgi there are in my life.”

“Unnie it’s time. I’ll just turn tune in to the live broadcast.” Joy excused herself and took the laptop from her room.

“Did you know other Seulgi’s?”

“Of course, but not as pretty...” Irene smiled and took a bite.

She noticed Yeri wasn’t eating throughout the conversation.

“I prepared chicken and yet you’re not eating.”

Yeri smiled then took a bite.

“Sorry Unnie.”

Of course her aegyo was simply too cute for the eldest to remain in a scolding mood.

“Just eat…” She smiled and saw Joy come back from their room.

She could already hear her girlfriend’s voice coming out of the laptop’s speakers.

“Joy-Unnie, Irene-Unnie doesn’t remember…”

“Typical… Hehehe… Ouch!” Joy complained when she felt Irene’s foot step on hers.

“That wasn’t like days ago. That was seven years ago.” Irene frowned but continued with her meal.

“But Seulgi-Unnie was special to you…”

Irene looked up to Yeri who had these dreamy eyes that Joy had to flick her forehead again.

“You stan them too much. You know how forgetful she can get.”

The dinner continued and Irene would constantly look up to the laptop that was facing them glancing at her girlfriend. She made a pout. She asked Seulgi to wear the snapback she bought for her but opted for an old one instead. Playfully, Wendy and Seulgi entertained the listeners and those watching live as well.

It was perfect.

The two 94-liners perfectly fit DJ-ing together.

Irene wondered though. Would she do well if she did it with Seulgi?

There were moments that Seulgi was awkward and too open when speaking. As time passed by, everyone noticed that she’s better when she’s doing them with Wendy.

Of course it sometimes sparks all of the uneasy feeling on her chest. But Wendy IS Seulgi’s best friend. You can’t deny the girl having her own world with other people besides Irene.

The leader knew that to have a healthy relationship, they should have friends. It was even better that they have a mutual set of friends.

So unlike the time they were still in training. She recalled how she would glance at Seulgi speaking to Krystal while on breaks.

At first Irene could only watch.

And then, she became friends with the cuddly bear.

“Unnie, are you done?” Joy asked pulling her back to reality.

She peeks to the maknaes plates and saw
