Yifan was a dweeb and he knew it. 

He accepted it lightly. Well, heavily. He just needed friends. Ones that paid attention to him. Cared about him, texted him, interacted with him. His friends didn't do that. They were work friends, not real ones. 

So, when Yifan found a cat sassily prancing through the alley, he called out. Oh God. He'd turned into a crazy cat man.
