Tao prayed silently in his seat that he wouldn't be partnered with his long time tormenter, Byun Baekhyun, but his heart sank as his chemistry teacher called out in his dry, boring, montone voice,

"Mr. Huang, you will be partnered with... Byun Baekhyun," it was then that Zitao discovered that the lord did not care. Damn Tao thought to himself, out of all the people he could have been paired with, why did it have to be that dreadful, little man responsible for making Tao's life at school a living hell. Tao didn't dare look back at the other boy, instead he let his head drop onto his desk feeling his cheeks and the tips of his ears getting warmer as the blood rushed to them, he sat like that for the remaining 10 mintes of class and as soon as the bell rung he darted to his teacher's desk where he was quickly joined by none other than the horrid, Byun Baekhyun.

"Seonsaeng-nim, please listen to me!" Tao pleaded, "there has to be some way I can work on this with someone else! I will do this project alone if I have to! Please, teacher,"

"Teacher-nim," Beakhyun interrupted, "why are you doing this? Just let me work by myself and everything will be fine," Tao was taken aback by how casually the shorter boy spoke to their instructor.

"You two are ridiculous. Why do you think I would change the rules of an assignment just because a pair of students decide upon acting like children? You are far too old to be acting in this manner, you will work together on this project and after you finish you will never have to even look in the same direction ever again. Now leave." Both boys packed up their schoolbags and started heading to lunch due to start shortly. Baekhyun left the room rolling his eyes and cursing Tao and the teacher, Mr. Wu, under his breath. Tao left Bowing his head and apologizing for wasting the teacher's time. As soon as Zitao left the classroom he was dragged by his hair and thrown to the ground
