Description
The weight of the world rests on Kyungsoo’s shoulders. Brother-in-law to the man who once tried to conquer the land, he now must do whatever he can to prove his loyalty to the new king. Including, of course, throwing himself at the king consort's brother, a wild young prince with a savage heart and burning, passionate eyes.
What starts off as a political play to secure the wellbeing of his people becomes something much more when Kyungsoo realizes that there is no need to pretend. Kai wants him already - scars and all. Now perhaps if he can only convince himself that this isn't real.

Inspired loosely by a large number of fantasy series, including but not limited to: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire - since I've watched or read or heard these series, there's undoubtedly stuff in here that people will probably find familiar, although any similarities are not intentionally written to be that way - I just acknowledge the lack of complete originality in a fic like this :).
