Rabbit. Cute, cuddly, can be a good luck charm. Many people mistake this creature for being harmless and innocent.

But deep down, they can be moody, stubborn and superficial. They can be choosy over who they associate themselves with it. And spoil themselves undeservingly.

After being underestimated for so long, he has been dying to get to the front of the pack. He won’t let anything get in his way. Moody, opportunistic, stubborn, detached can describe a Rabbit, but there’s always a bigger story to tell.

Foreword

"Why did you bring me here, Jaebeom?" Hyo Mi said, fidgeting with her skin tight pink dress once more. She felt so out of place dressed the way she was, every other girl there had gowns on and here she was, with a bodycon mini on.

"I needed a date for the company gala." He answered casually, "Besides, you look hot." He smirked, putting his arm around her waist.

"You could have told me I needed a gown or something, everyone is looking at me weird, and it's not because my dress is pink!" She shout whispered at him.

"But best friend," Jaebeom pouted, "Would you really have let me come stag to this? The food is amazing." He said.

Hyo Mi rolled her eyes at him, "You're lucky I love you." She told him, hanging onto his arm as he walked further inside the ballroom. "Give your jacket at least."

"Fine." He whined, taking the white jacket off, revealing his navy blue dress shirt underneath. Hyo Mi slipped it onto her shoulders and instantly felt better about her hemline.

She managed to fill the Golden Ratio by having laced sleeves but that still didn't stop everyone from gawking at her legs. She should have prepared better for this gala, but Jaebeom didn't tell her anything.

He just needed a date, he said. And usually that meant clubs, or parties. But not this time, she groaned to herself as she followed Jae around the room.

She smiled politely when she needed to, and she hung there on his arm, as a true date. Once he finished making his rounds, he finally brought her to the buffet.

"Here, you must be starving and they have a dessert buffet too." Jaebeom said, handing her the big plate for her entrees.

"Yes, next time warn me if this happens again." Hyo Mi glared at him. She filled her plate with all the expensive goodies, lobster, prime rib, fresh fish.

She moved to the next item with her plate almost full, when the man in front of her took the last crab cake. "Aww." She said sadly, looking at the empty silver tray.

"You're so cute, they'll bring more, you baby." Jaebeom , "I know these foods are special to you but keep your cool, okay?"

"So you aren't exactly from the company?" The man in front of her said, turning around.

Immediately, Jaebeom put his tongs down and gave a low bow to him. "President, how are you this evening?" He asked politely.

"Is this your date, Jaebeom?" He looked over Hyo Mi in distaste. "Couldn't you have asked one of the secretaries to accompany you? At least they know etiquette."

"I have etiquette." Hyo Mi snapped back, "I just wasn't told it was a gala, so I didn't put on a gown. But thank you for your judgment." She said plainly.

The waiter brought out fresh crab cakes and Hyo Mi reached for one when the man grabbed her wrist.

"You do know who you are speaking with, don't you?" He asked her.

Hyo Mi rolled her eyes, "So you're one of those guys? I think it shouldn't matter, you were rude to me first. I'd like to see you squeeze into a size 2 with a 36 inch bust." She said, removing her wrist gently and putting two crab cakes on her plate.

He looked over her size again and his eyes widened, "You fit all of that into a size 2?" He said, looking from her plate of food and back to her.

"I work out." Hyo Mi said casually, "Now, if you'll excuse me." She her heel and walked to where Jaebeom's placard once. She had seen it earlier on their rounds of people.

"Yah! Best friend." Jaebeom shout whispered at her, as he walked as fast as he could without being noticeable.

"Yes, Jae." Hyo Mi said, sitting down nicely, waiting for his return.

"You do know who you were talking to right?" He asked her in disbelief.

She threw him a look, "Jae, you know I've been in America for the past five years. You only decided to take me out to this because you canceled on our movie date." She sassed.

"That was Choi Seunghyun, he is the CEO to Choi Company." Jaebeom told her, holding his breath.

"And?" She said, cutting into her prime rib.

"And," Jaebeom started, "He's my boss. I'm one of his secretaries." He told her in a loud whisper.

Hyo Mi turned to Jaebeom with her jaw dropped and her eyes wide. She turned back to the head of her table where Mr. Choi Seunghyun gave her a small wave with a smirk on his face. "Ahh, crap." She cursed.
