CHARACTERS:

Krystal Jung  (Soojung)- Krystal is Yiyun’s best friend they were each other’s first love but everything fell apart when Krystal’s parents (who’re wealthy, btw) decided to move to the city leaving Yiyun in the province.

Amber Liu (Yiyun)-  Amber or Yiyun is from a small family, her parents works at the Jungs', her dad being a farmer while her mother passed away while giving birth to her. She's strong and cares for everyone. She fights for what is right and treats everyone equally, making Sulli fall for her.

Jessica Jung (Sooyeon)- Jessica is the acting-CEO of their company and she’s also Krystal’s older sister, she’s cold just like her sister but has a warm heart inside. She’s in love with their company’s rival, Kwon Yuri.

Kwon Yuri- Yuri is an all-around playgirl who loves to play and break the hearts of girls (even men) she met Jessica at a party and she  recruited Jessica as a model to their company’s magazine, not knowing a thing that Jessica is the acting-CEO in their rival company. She became friends with Yiyun since the photoshoot is held at the farm in Jung’s province.

Luna Park- Luna is a daughter of a farmer she has a twin sister and they also became farmers just like their parents, they are in charge of the flowers in the farm.

Victoria Song- Victoria is the youngest head maid at the jung manor, she is close friends with Luna and Yiyun

Choi Sulli- Sulli is Krystal and Jessica’s cousin who is in love with Yiyun or Amber which led to her constant visit at the farm.

Bae Suzy- Suzy is a TA (Teacher-Assistant) in the university, because of Amber's (Yiyun) caring personality, she falls in love with her.

“Neh, Yiyuuun” Krystal whined as she stomped her foot at the ground while maintaining eye contact at her friend who smiled at her, “Soojungie, we need to get you back home,” she stopped to point at the grey sky, “It’s gonna be dark soon, you know.” She sighed as she saw the younger girl frown at her and said, “I don’t wanna go home, yet..” she paused, “They’ll gonna separate us, I don’t want that to happen.”

It is indeed true, Soojung will be going to Seoul with her family because Sooyeon (Jessica) will be going to college and it’s just right of them to accompany her, there, Soojung will continue to study and maybe settle down there for good. Yiyun frowned at the idea of them settling there for good, though she’s just sixteen at the moment and Soojung is still fourteen.. she must admit that there was never a day that she did not admire the beauty of the younger Jung, she may be cold, have mood swings at times but the imperfections that she had shown made her perfect in the eyes of Yiyun.

She sighed as she took Soojung’s hands on her own and smiled at her, “Soojungie, don’t forget me, okay?”

The younger girl was about to cry when Yiyun kissed her forehead, “Promise to return, I have something to tell you.” The girl could only nod in return and the older girl led their back.

They are now outside the door and were staring at each other, “We’re here.” Yiyun said as she broke the silence between them, Soojung nodded.

“Yiyun,” she softly called the older girl who smiled at her, “What is it, Soojungie?”

She stepped forward , tiptoed and kissed Yiyun’s nose which made the older girl blinked more than she should have.

“That’s for everything and this..” she stopped to hug her, “for my promise to return.” Yiyun smiled and hugger her back, “You made a promise, you better not break it or I’ll go there and---“ she was cut off when the door opened revealing Jessica who rolled her eyes at the two, “sorry to end this drama but Soojung needs to sleep now,” Yiyun nodded as she lets go of the girl and smiled at her, “See you, later?”

Soojung nodded. “Later, ‘yun.”

And that was the last time that they saw each other. For 5 years.
