Yoona’s Profile:

            Yoona is a 28-year-old surgical fellow who is specializing in fetal surgery and pediatrics.  As an independent woman, she is headstrong, highly intelligent, and very ambitious.  She graduated from medical school early and is the youngest in a fellowship program in the state of California.  As the youngest surgical fellow in Los Angeles Medical Center, she is respected amongst her peers because of her brilliance and skills.  It was revealed recently that she was the only granddaughter of surgical legend, Joomin Im, and her status at the hospital quickly heightens.  Yoona is the type who always has a schedule for her days, and she is considered to be uptight due to her fondness for rules and boundaries.  Because she spends sixteen hours working in a hospital five times a week, she believes that she has no time for dating or starting a family.  Because she is the only woman in her family, which is filled with successful surgeons, she believes that she must push herself even more to stand out from the crowd.

Seunghyun’s Profile:

            Seunghyun is 31 years old, and he is the head of cardiothoracic surgery in Los Angeles Medical Center.  Like Yoona, he is very intelligent and ambitious, but he is known to be very silent and private.  He keeps his circle of friends very close, and he usually doesn’t talk to others unless it’s about surgery.  He had spent his whole life preparing himself for a medical career even though his family strongly went against it.  He is a world-class surgeon, and he had worked with some of the most brilliant minds in the world.  He had operated on some of the most important people around the world.  Although he is pretty arrogant about his achievements, he has a heart of gold, and he also has a soft side for the helpless and vulnerable.  Like Yoona, he graduated from medical school early hence his young age as the head of cardiothoracic surgery.  He is natural born leader, and he loves being in charge.
