„Oy, Jiminnie!”

„Yes, hyun-!”

“Hmmm, excuse me?”

Jimin didn’t reply, but Oliver did it for him, letting out a loud, insane meow. Not once, but twice, followed by some extra hissing. Jimin just watched how cat ran away to hide in the bathroom after how his tail was crashed to the floor by Jimin’s foot. Every cat owner can relate to this kind of situation, right? You just want to enter the living room peacefully, and then next thing you know is that your cat had chosen the hallway as a best place to take a nap. If you’re lucky, you’ll only step on the tail, and sometimes it’s cat’s paw or other body part that become hurt. After this little furry victim disappeared in the bathroom, Jimin, picked up the phone again and let out a loud sigh.

“Yea, Hoseok, what do you want?”

It sounded much ruder than Jimin intended, but luckily it’s really hard to turn off Hoseok from doing anything. In the moments like that, his optimistic attitude is an actual bliss.

“We’re going out tonight.”

Jimin could clearly hear that his hyung is smiling. He’s probably planning something stupid, like movie marathon in this cheap cinema nearby, or fast food night out, or night at the gym…

“There’s this new club just a few minutes away from my house, so we’re going to check it out. Tonight.”

“Oh, I’m sorry, you’re asking me or you just already decided?” asked Jimin with a greatly performed frown and a small hiss at the end, but eventually he laughed shortly before adding “You know that I’m not really into clubs.”

Hoseok’s loud sigh said all about what he thought about Jimin’s preferences. Of course he already had made plans, he won’t change them now just because Jimin is being… Jimin.

“Just one hour, please.”

“Hyung…”

“Please. I’ll buy you food.”

“Alright. Pick me up at 9.”

Before hanging up two boys laugh out loudly and exchanged short goodbyes, and the next thing Jimin knew is that he had literally nothing to wear. He went straight to his wardrobe and opened its door widely, looking critically at his collection of shirts, t-shirts and trousers. And shoes, let’s not forget those.

He wanted to look really good. Really, damn good. It’s not that he wanted to impress anyone (maybe Hoseok a bit, of course), but because his hyung were always choosing the best clothes when they went up somewhere, it’s obvious Jimin didn’t want to stand out as this “worse-looking one”. He went through his t-shirts and decided to dress up simply, but with charm, so people won’t think that he actually tried really hard to look good. He took the clothes had chosen out of the wardrobe and laid them on the bed, looking at them one more time, just be sure they match each other.

Now all he had to do, was waiting. He had around 3 more hours to prepare himself, and of course he had to take care of his hair, but it was still way too early to do so. He killed some time with making himself and Oliver some food, even though he wasn’t really good at cooking as we all know, he managed to not hurt himself or destroy the kitchen. When he filled his stomach, he decided it’s the time to make himself look good. He took his time to style his hair before he changed his clothes, and at the time he was judging himself in the mirror, the doorbell rang.

Hoseok complimented his outfit which just made Jimin feeling extra good about himself. After a small chitchat they decided there’s no point in wasting more time and went out to the club. Of course this time Hoseok wasn’t driving them both, they took a bus instead, as both of them were planning on drinking that night.

The club was rather small for this kind of activities. It didn’t look very inviting form the outside, but Hoseok kept on saying that he knew what he’s doing and that Jimin won’t be disappointed. They already had gone all this way there so it would really a waste of time if they didn’t go in, so younger boy followed his hyung inside. The smell of smoke and sweat hit Jimin right after they opened the door, and as far as Jimin wanted to go outside right away, Hoseok’s strong grip on younger’s wrist just pulled him further into the room. The main dancefloor was extremely crowded. Jimin was expecting a lot of people as it was the grand opening night, but seriously? He had never been on a party like this. There were different people everywhere – drinking, smoking, dancing, talking, making up and other typical things people do in places like that.

“Nice.”

That was all Hoseok had to tell before he pulled his friend to the bar and ordered small beers. In contrast to Jimin, he looked amused and pretty comfortable, when Jimin was fighting for every breath he was taking. That’s why he didn’t really like places like that. Not that he was trying to pretend to be a proper, good boy, but the atmosphere of this club was rather repulsive. Jimin focused on watching the people around him while they’re both waiting for their order. He could clearly see that there was much more girls than guys, and that most of the men were completely drunk. Sad to see, but he also noticed a few passed out girls lying around on the floor and sofas. Not that guards or service would care… Jimin just shook his head seeing how one of the guy was trying to put his hand inside that drank girl's pants, and – what’s even worse – she didn’t really mind that they’re around of so many people. She was all happy and totally enjoying herself when her “friend” was dragging her out to the men’s toilet. Jimin turned around to face Hoseok again, and what he met was his usual sunny smile.

“And? What can you say?”

Well, Jimin didn’t really know what he should say. It was a complete disaster already, and he was not really in the mood for doing anything in this place, but of course he didn’t want to make his friend upset. He just responded with a smile too and pointed out on the dancefloor and crowd there.

“Looks nice, music is awesome.”

Yes, it wasn’t really a lie. If there was a thing that had actually made a good impression on Jimin, it was definitely music. And beer. Both of them were pretty good comparing to, for example, cheap looking furniture.

“Come on, let’s show them how it should be done!”

Hoseok suddenly scream, finishing his beer in one go and leading his friend to the dancefloor. Jimin started to panic a little bit at that moment, because dancing in this sweaty, completely wasted crowd wasn’t really appealing for him. But he couldn’t say no when Hoseok asked him to dance, right? He just couldn’t refuse this offer, especially because it was a very good idea to get closer to each other. Literally, closer. The crowd was getting crazier and wilder with every song, people were jumping around not caring about people around them, and they completely forgot what a private space is. It wasn’t a surprise then when Jimin and Hoseok ended up crashing into each other every now and then, especially when dj payed some very energetic song. Of course Jimin was trying his best to show off his dance moves, but it’s obvious he couldn’t beat Hoseok, a dance god himself. Even though they were just in some cheap club, his hyung was dancing like there’s no tomorrow. He wasn’t showing off, there was no need nor enough space to do so, but even those simple moves made Jimin’s heart beat a little bit faster. Every time their shoulder touched, or people around them suddenly made them crash into each other or push one on the other, Jimin wondered how long will he survive in this place. Hoseok seemed to be all over the place, smiling to these people, waving to this girl, dancing with these group and that group… and Jimin was completely focused on his hyung only. He didn’t want to miss anything from that moment. He was following his every move, every stare and every smile, and he could still hear his loud laugh even despite music.

But then, Jimin didn’t really know how it happened, he and Hoseok somehow split up. The younger boy found himself at the bar again, ordering another beer. He was totally exhausted after dancing in that crowd, and he hadn’t even realized when he lost sight of his friend. He decided to wait for him at the bar, it was obvious for him that Hoseok will get thirsty eventually and will come there soon. But minutes were passing, Jimin finished his second drink and Hoseok was still not there with him. Younger boy tried to look for him in the crowd but it was nearly impossible to notice a single person among all these people on the dancefloor. He even tried to call him, even though it was a bit stupid to hope that someone will hear their phone in a club. He almost gave up and wanted to go back at the bar, when…

He finally found him. He was standing near the tables, drinking something. And he wasn’t alone. There was this girl hanging on his shoulder, laughing loudly at something he just said and trying hard to look cute despite her hair being wet from sweat. She was very pretty, even Jimin had to admit that. Typical college girl, long blonde hair, short, colorful dress and nicely done make up. She was giving a nice and friendly vibe, she wasn’t drunk and could stand straight on her own, so it was really hard for Jimin to hate her. Well, maybe only for touching Hoseok, but nothing else. He really didn’t like the way Hoseok was completely fine with this kind of behavior. After those past few event, Jimin had actually started thinking that things can work out between them if he gave Hoseok some time to make up his mind and adjust. But now, seeing how comfortable he could get with a complete stranger girl? He could feel how small needles were slowly stinging his heart every time Hoseok and this girl's eyes met, when she laughes at his lame joke and ...

Jimin just sighed deeply and went back to the bar. He didn’t really know why would he even stay at that club any longer, but he would rather keep an eye on Hoseok and watch him that assume things at home and never be able to find out what really happened after he had left. So he stayed, drinking another drink and watching his flirting friend from afar. All he could feel was disappointment. He thought Hoseok was different, that he has some rules, and he’s better that all those guys here who’ll decided to flirt with everything that’s wearing a skirt.

Jimin shifted his stare from Hoseok to his own glass and triedto focus his mind on something else. It took him a few seconds before he realized that there’s a girl sitting right next to him, trying to make a contact with him by repeating “Hey!” over and over again until he looked up on her. She had beautiful green eyes and dark, tanned skin, almost completely covered by a long, black dress. Not really in the style for this kind of night out, but at least it made a good impression on Jimin. He assumed this girl would take time to get to know him instead of trying to take him home as soon as possible.

“I’m Tiana, nice to meet you!”  she said cheerfully, showing off her white teeth in a wide smile. “Are you having a good time?”

Oh, Jimin really didn’t know if he should be honest with her and vent or play it cool and act like he was having a time of his life. He didn’t want to seem boring and snobbish, so eventually he chose the second option, responded with the same, friendly smile and shook girl’s hand.

“Jimin, nice to meet you to! And yes, this club seems to be pretty dope, what about you?”

The conversation with Tiana was a real pleasure for him. She was smart, she was funny and she really took time to ask Jimin questions about him and his passions. He was totally enjoying himself, he already forgot about Hoseok and his new friend, he was completely focused on Tiana and her high school stories. She had a lovely smile, the kind of smile that brings people to their knees and make them feel better by itself. She had class and she was really well-spoken, Jimin was wondering what the hell a girl like her would be doing in some cheap club like that. Both of them kept on trying new and exotic drinks, so the amount of alcohol Jimin consumed was getting bigger and bigger...

“Hmmm, so…what do you want to do now?”

Tiana suddenly asked, when they eventually ran out of topics and the silence between them was getting more and more awkward. It took Jimin a few seconds before he noticed girl’s hand caressing his knee, but he didn’t do anything about it. He didn’t mind at all, suddenly remembering Hoseok and his new girl, and he didn’t feel bad at all. He sat a bit closer to Tiana and touched her hand “by accident”, giving her a small, mischievous smile.

“Whatever you want to do.”

Jimin replied shortly, looking a bit to the side, trying to catch a glimpse of Hoseok, and all he found was his friend clueless stare glued to Jimin and Tiana. Younger boy couldn’t help but to snort quietly before looking up at Tiana again, suddenly realizing that he had indeed drunk a lot that evening. He could finally feel all that alcohol running through his veins, and he wasn’t really caring about his own behavior at that moment. He didn’t had anything against Tiana leaning closer to him and lying down a soft kiss on his lips. Hers were nice and plump, her lip gloss smell like strawberries and Jimin could feel her smiling against his lips. He couldn’t help but to smile himself, but instead of that, he pushed his lips again against Titana’s, connecting their mouths one more time, this time for much longer. Their heads were moving slowly while they were tasting each other, Tiana’s neck were held firmly by Jimin’s hand, just like he didn’t want to let her go anywhere, and they would probably go on and on if only Hoseok didn’t show up. And he wasn’t pleased at all.

“Oh, hyung!”  said Jimin, leaning out of his and Tiana’s kiss and gave Hoseok an innocent smile. “ Please, meet  my new friend, Tiana.” he added, pointing at the girl with a slight movement of his head. Tiana just smiled in response, extending her hand in Hoseok direction, but he didn’t even look at her, totally ignoring her presence.

“That wasn’t very nice…” Jimin hissed under his breath, giving his hyung a reprimanding stare. If only he was sober, he would be surprised how Hoseok’s face had changed. He was literally pissed off. Not just upset or angry, it really seemed like blood is boiling inside his veins. But he could still somehow keep calm, probably not wanting to make a scene in a public place. Again, he didn’t say a word, he was just looking at Jimin, plotting what would be the best punishment for him in that case.

“Well… I guess I should go home.” Tiana broke the silence, looking a bit embarrassed with her shaking hands trying to find her purse and phone. Her shifty stare was trying to focus on Jimin’s face and totally ignore Hoseok, but his presence just made her heart speed up even more that Jimin had done before. “Are you going with me?” she asked suddenly, taking Jimin’s hand and pulling him a bit in her direction. She forced a sly smile on her face to not look as nervous as she became, and Jimin’s response made her relax a little bit.

“Sure, I’ll just grab my jac-“

“He’s busy.He won't go with you.”

Both Jimin and Tiana looked at Hoseok. The girl was literally terrified, her face completely pale, all her confidence seemed to disappear in the matter of seconds. She quickly grabbed her bag and left two boys alone, ignoring Jimin and his pleading voice asking her to stay. When he was left with Hoseok only, all he had to say to him was a short “Thanks” before he went to the cloakroom to pick up his jacket. Hoseok didn’t stop Jimin this time, he just followed him instead. They will go back home together either way, they’ll just talk about it at home. Club, street and bus weren’t a good place to solve this kind of things.

Jimin slept over most of the way home, and Hoseok didn’t even mind him resting his head on his shoulder. Yes, he was mad at Jimin, he was really mad, but he also knew that when his dongsaeng was drunk, he wasn’t really using his brain anymore as much as he should. It was hard for Hoseok to watch his friend kissing a girl. Yes, they were just friends, but this feeling, something similar to jealousy had stung Hoseok right in the heart and told him to stop that as soon as possible. He didn’t want to block Jimin, that was not the point, he just couldn’t bear the view of him enjoying himself with that girl.

He looked out of the window to avoid other passenger’s urgent stares. He guessed it had to look very suspicious when he was watching sleeping Jimin so carefully...

__

“I just ing hate you, that’s it!”

Jimin screamed right in Hoseok’s face, as soon as they entered younger’s apartment. The way home wasn’t the easiest one, mostly because Hoseok had had to basically carry his drunk friend all the way, but that’s not the point. The most important thing was to solve this conflict and, even better, to put Jimin to sleep so Hoseok can leave and go rest himself. But the younger boy seemd to be way more energetic after his short nap at the bus, and he was literally all over Hoseok.

“Why do you hate me, uh?”

Hoseok replied calmly, ping Jimin’s jacket, not even worrying about his inept trials to shake hyung’s hands off. Younger boy had this permanent pout on his face now, as always when he’s drunk, looking all innocent and cute, with his so different behavior. Hoseok didn’t understand any of his friend’s weird actions until he screamed the reason right into his face.

“Because of that !!!Why didn’t you bring her home with you, huh?!?!?!”

Hosok was totally speechless. He watched Jimin’s face turn bright red and a single tear rolling down his cheek, not understanding a thing. Really? That was a reason? It was so shocking to hear Jimin use that kind of words, but hey, alcohol was doing its job.

“Jimin…” Hoseok started softly, coming up to him a little bit closer and put his hands on younger’s shoulders. “She was my cousin. You met her once before. You really didn’t recognized Kim?”

Jimin’s face went from angry to totally clueless. And Hoseok understand that. His friend was drunk, really drunk, there’s nothing surprising that he didn’t recognized the person he had only seen once in his life. The only thing that Hoseok didn’t understand, was why Jimin was making a fuss about him talking with a girl. Is it possible that he was jealous? Hoseok couldn’t help but smile with a corner of his lips, but next tears appearing in Jimin’s eyes made him worried all over again.

“Hey, what’s wrong, Jimin?” he asked caringly, wiping off younger boy’s cheeks with his hands, trying to pick up his stare and make eye contact. But Jimin’s eyes were glued to the floor, his shoulders were shaking a bit while his quiet sobbing filled the hallway.

“You’re so bad and… a-and you’re so stupid...”

Hoseok was completely lost at that point, he tried to focus and find a clue in all this mumbling escaping Jimin’s mouth, but all he could do was to wipe off his friend’s tears and try to make him calm down.

“Why am I bad, hm?” Hosoek asked almost with motherly voice, petting Jimin’s cheek and finally meeting his shifty stare. He was crying like a baby and Hoseok was seriously wondering if his cousin was the real reason behind all these tears. “Don’t cry, Jiminnie, shuuu-“

“Because you are!!! You are so bad to me!!!” Jimin scream again, but in the same time dropped right into Hoseok’s warm embrace, lost all the calm left in him and started crying all over again. Hoseok hugged him tightly, giving him a few seconds to sob comfortably and wondering about the words he had just heard. Was he really bad for Jimin? He always thought he’s doing his best in taking care of his dongsaeng. He just hoped that it’s all alcohol and not Jimin who’s speaking then. The main point was to calm Jimin down.

“Am I really bad to you, Jiminnie?” Hoseok asked with a soft voice, almost whispering, and his younger friend immediately stopped crying. He just tugged himself more into Hoseok’s chest, not letting his hyung look him in the eyes.

“Oyy, Jimin, look at me. Just once, hm?” Hoseok asked again, pulling himself away from the boy, as much he let him though, and tried to pick up his stare. Jimin was a mess, a big, drunk, crying mess, and Hoseok’s heart was literally in pieces every time he saw Jimin crying. He cupped younger boy’s face in his hands and lifter it up enough for their eyes to meet, and then sent the most comforting smile he could make. Jimin’s face was all wet from tears and his stare was still shifty, but it was still the most beautiful and favorite face to look at for Hoseok. He totally adored this boy, even when he’s calling him names and crying for no apparent reason, he still wanted to make him feel better and make sure he’s totally fine before leaving him alone.

“Am I really that bad to you…?” Hoseok repeated his question, more to himself than Jimin, carefully examining his friend’s face before leaning his own a bit closer.

He was drunk, a bit, yes, but not drunk enough to not know what he’s doing. Even Jimin’s eyes, widening and becoming bigger and bigger, didn’t stop Hoseok from resting his lips in the corner of Jimin’s mouth. He laid a soft kiss there, then moved a bit to the side and kissed him again, longer, tasting Jimin’s lips like it should be done. He could feel Jimin’s body tensing up in his embrace, but after a few seconds he let Hoseok do whatever he want to him. He took every peck, every kiss and every tongue movement with a quiet moan, his nose was always in the way when Hoseok was trying to crook his head to the other side, his kisses were sloppy and messy, his body was paralyzed and not able to move a single muscle, he felt so bad for being so passive, but…

But the only thing that mattered at that moment was that he was being kissed by the most important person in his life, and that he felt so good and safe in those arms closing him in a tight embrace.

Jimin didn’t care what will happen next. He didn’t care what Hoseok might think about him later, it was all not important.

The only thing that matter was Hoseok’s fast, horse breath when he pulled away for a short break and how he smiled to Jimin seeing his surprised expression.

And how he kissed him again.

And how everything was fine again.
