Home, Sweet Yet Lonely Home.....

With a long sigh Eun Byul unlocked her small apartment door and entered it's silent sanctuary. She hung her keys on the hanger and tossed her small bag to the old couch. The complex had 6 simple areas; A bathroom, bedroom, closet, livingroom, kitchen, and a tiny balcony. It was plain, quiet, and lonely in the apartment, but it was home to her. She moved here with special permission from the government to ignore her under age limit when she was sixteen. She was sent here by her father when he discovered that the USA government wanted to recruit her into the elite division of the military. Not wanting his only memory of his wife to be a military tool he sent her to Korea while he stayed and did his job as the chief of the Special Forces. They kept in contact once every week in encoded emails through a private program. She walked up the laptop on the couch, crouching and opening the program. It was exactly 11:59 and she posted a quick message stating all was well.

Letting the events of today hit her, she let out a deep sigh as she walked to the kitchen fridge and grabbed a small carton of juice from the small amount of food stored there. Placing it on the table she went into her room and began to change. As she took off her shirt, twin jagged scars revealed themselves on her shoulder blades and a thin scar was visible on her right rib cage area. Her firm body flexed as she struggled her shirt off. Changing her pants into some pajama shorts and putting on a plain blue tang top, she walked back into the kitchen and drank the juice from it's carton. She went to the bathroom and opened her right eye wide, slowly she took out a dark colored contact to reveal a startlingly bright sapphire eye. She stared at her eyes reflection. Caused from a rare genetic mutation that supposedly was from her mothers side, she had heterochromia, causing a differentiation in her eye coloring. It usually only caused a small pixel change in the retina but hers was a complete change. So she wore contacts, sick of the people stares and them avoiding her eyes when they speak to her. The angelic man named Kevin, flashed into her head. His eyes were so beautiful, bright, and warm, the exact opposite of her freaky, glaring, and apparently soulless eyes. She was envious of those pretty eyes. They ensnared her with their gentle yet keen gaze in a matter of moments. Shaking her head she dwelled on larger issues. The event was obviously publicized by the dozens of cameras at the scene. Appa will be very upset with her. She went to the laptop and opened it to naver. She groaned and banged her head on her knees as she saw the headlines.

not wanting to read anymore she closed the laptop. And went to take care of her hygene.
