Violence is Not the Answer... But It's an Option

Eunbyul entered her house completely drained. Her damp clothes were uncomfortable and she once again sprinted the rooftops because of the pervert incident. She stripped herself of the clothing and changed into soft sweat pants and a t shirt. She closed her eyes immediately and drifted to sleep the instant she plopped herself on her fluffy bed.

Two hours later she shot out of bed as her phone alerted her a text message sent by the granny about needing extra help today. Sighing in frustration she reluctantly got out of bed and tidied herself the best she could. She headed to he cafe only to be greeted by Kang soo's cocky remark.
 

" Don't you look a bit groggy today. Unladylike as usual Byul..."
 

She gave him a colder stare than ever with her dark and hidden eyes. Debating on punching him or just hitting his solar plexus to be done with it. He frowned at her coldness when she walked passed him. It sent unwanted chills in his spine.
 

As they day grew dimmer, three high school students walked into the cafe with smiles and laughter. Eunbyul ignored them and started wiping away the cashier front. It's been a long sleep deprived day for her. One of the boys looked at her carefully and his eyes widened in recognition.
 

"Yah! Younmin! Kwangmin!"
 

The twins looked at his excited expression.
" Mwoh?" they said together. He simply pointed to Eunbyul and the twins followed the finger to her familiar figure. They also lit up like children on Christmas morning. They stared at her features in a daze. Kangsoo came in to take their order when he noticed their stare. He was furious and wished Eunbyul was in the back like she always was as he felt possessive over his precious star. He walked up with chest puffed out.
 

" What do you boys want to order? Make it fast."
 

He said in a deeper voice. Youngmin, Minwoo, and Kwangmin was surprised at his animosity and quickly ordered some Hot chocolate.
" hmm. Typical childish choice." Kangsoo muttered vehemently as he walked away. He debated whether to try his idea and eventually walked back to them.
 

" I'm sorry to say we don't have anymore hot chocolate."
 

Eunbyul overheard and frowned at the lie. She quickly went to the backroom and grabbed a few ingredients. She never drank hot cocoa until Hoon made some but it didn't mean she could not make some. As the milk heated up she mixed the chocolate in and poured it into three cups. She added marshmallows and whip cream with shaved white chocolate for optimum results and took the tray out. Kangsoo was apparently in a heated debate with the youngsters.
 

" Stop staring at what's mine."
 

" Doesn't have your name on her."
 

" She WILL now back off little boys before I make you back off."
 

" Out of the way Cho Kangsoo."
 

Kangsoo spun around to see Eunbyul carrying a tray with three cups of hot chocolate elaborately made.
 

" Byul ah! I didn't see you there. I was ju-"
 

" Being rude to young customers and disrupting service."
 

Kangsoo shut his mouth and reddened.
" Ugh... You close for today Eunbyul since you came in late and slacked off" he grumbled and tossed his apron to the counter before storming out with his keys before she could even protest.
 

Rolling her eyes she set the tray at their table. They stared at her, flustered and muttered shy thank yous.
 

" it's on the house. For compensation of that rude idiot." she said simply before walking away.
 

The Jo twins began sipping their mugs when Minwoo blurted,
 

" Thank you noona! Erm. Could we be friends?"
 

The Jo twins made a pffft sound and spat some chocolates out.
 

" Huh?"
 

Now Minwoo was turning red as a tomato.
" What I mean is um.... What's your n-name miss?"
 

" oh... Lee Eunbyul. What's yours?" she said softly trying not to scare the boy.
 

" I'm Jo Kwangmin!" The dark haired twin beamed
 

" And I'm Jo Youngmin!" the blonde haired twin piped
 

" My name is Lee Minwoo." The shorter of the two said
 

" ah... Well it's a pleasure." and she walked away swiftly.
The boys began rejoicing silently with high fives.

They drank their mugs empty and decided to leave. Minwoo was about to place a massive tip when a suspicious man came into the store in a cap, mask, and sweater. The man ignored them and walked towards the cashier, looking around he quickly ripped the old machine from the counter and began to run to the exit when Minwoo ran in his way and tackled him. The man was bulkier than he appeared and he was so much bigger than Minwoo, he simply shoved Minwoo into the wall. The Jo twins jumped the man but he grabbed Youngmin by the collar and threw him to Minwoo and gave a kick sending Kwangmin off. Minwoo was still in a daze from hitting his head none to gently on the wall, but mustered a strong kick to the man's shin and knee. The man stumbled with a painful groan. Angry, the man stomped on Youngmin and Minwoo, before he could go on and smash the cashier on their heads, a hand came and blocked the arm while th.e other hand had a vice grip on the man's neck.

Eunbyul kicked the spot behind the knee and slammed the man into the ground, she then dragged the stunned man by his face to to the wall and pushed him against the wall harshly. His throat in her hand she pinned him and slowly raised him up to his feet. She lifted him off the ground still pinned to the wall. It was a freaky sight, seeing a girl of her stature lifting a man up The man struggled futilely and was about to punch her but Eunbyul Tightened her grip mercilessly, and a malicious dark aura emanated from her as she glowered at the man. Her hair covered a single eye and she spoke darkly.
 

" Well what do we have here?"

The boys got up somewhat until she said a bit softer,
" Stay where you are." the command had no room for disobedience and they obeyed somewhat fearfully. The cafe seemed colder and darker as she focused her attention back on the robber who was turning blue. She let him go and he fell to the floor gasping for air, and completely limp in fear and shock. He stared into her cold and uncaring eyes. He flinched when she spoke so nonhalantly.
 

" I could do the right thing and call the police.....but today you caught me in a horrible mood, so instead... I'll just start hitting you."

Eunbyul sat the three on chairs and gave them ice packs for their bruises. Minwoo was still numb in shock and dizziness as he massaged his shoulder with a grimace. Eunbyul suddenly stretched a hand out and felt his head with gentle nudges.
 

" It's not a concussion but you should ice that more when you get home." he nodded and stared at her face. She looked at him gently assessing him with soft eyes. They prayed she would never look at them like she had looked at the robber.
 

" I should thank you for what you did. But it was foolish." she chided
 

" We didn't want the jerk to take anything away from you."
 

"......." they avoided her gaze and Youngmin flipped out his phone.
 

" Shoot! Guys we were suppose to be at the dorm by now." a call came and he answered.
 

" Hi Donghyun Hyung...."
 

" YAH! WHERE ARE YOU!?"
 

Eunbyul snatched the phone gently from Youngmin.
" Hello? Donghyun shi?"
 

" Oh uh... hello? Who is this."
 

" this is a friend of the boys, please send someone to pick them up. They got into a scuffle with a criminal and they're a bit hurt."
 

"Oh ok where are you?" he sounded serious
 

" at ~~~~~ Cafe." she hung up and handed him back the phone.
 

They sat their in awkward silence when Eunbyul decided to start a conversation.
" So... You guys are singers as well?"
 

Youngmin burst enthusiastically
" Yep! We are your BOYFRIEND!" they said simultaneously.
 

" Huh?" she tried not to giggle.
 

" We are Newbies but we'll work our way to the top!"
 

" that's a coincidence. I know a Kpop group as well."
 

" Well today you know an extra noona " Minwoo gave her his charming eye smile.
 

A man with red hair burst into the room. He looked more mature than the others, a bit pail, but he was still handsome. He saw the boys laughing and sighed in relief.
 

" Hi Hyung!" Minwoo said brightly.
 

" You alright? Where's the jerk?"
 

" Yeah we are ok. And Eunbyul noona beat the living lights out of the dude."
 

" Eunbyul noona?" Donhyun noticed the fourth party and looked at her. He was speechless for a moment as he saw her striking womanly features.

Shaking his head he gave a flustered grin. Eunbyul bowed politely as he bowed back. They exchanged greeting but the boys had to leave soon.
Kwangmin suddenly asked her,
 

"May I get your number noona?" he asked shyly
Eunbyul shrugged and they exchanged numbers while the others looked at Kwangmin in disbelief.
