“Is she the girl who came to our house today?” Mom asked.

“Yes Mom.”

“So tell me, how is this trip going to work out?”

“Well, we’re going to drive-“

“Drive?!?! Kim Jongwoon, do you expect me to forget you were in a car accident two months ago that nearly cost your life?”

“Mother,” I interrupted in return. “We’re getting a ride from Karen’s parents to the train station, then board a train.”

Mom gave a breath of relief as I continued. “Some people are going to pick us up and bring us to our hotel. She’s going to do her gig, and then we’re coming straight back.”

“Sounds good to me as long as you promise to not get in trouble and come straight back.”

“Promise.”

As for the ending, you could have blend in the two last chapters. Trust me, they make more sense together than apart^^
