What's Loved, Lives
Description
Kim Jaejoong is a collector of stuffed animals. He has hundreds piled around his room ranging from normal bears and rabbits to eccentric aliens and unidentifiable creatures. He has four, however, that he favors over the rest- a deer, a sheep, a tiger, and a rabbit.
When he was eight years old, he found them at a cheap stand in the market and instantly fell in love with each of them. He couldn’t look away and bought them with the money he was saving for a new art set.
Eight years have passed since that day; a stuffed animal bought here, a plushy bought there, and he is now sixteen years old.
One day, he comes home, and those four stuffed animals aren’t so stuffed anymore.

Foreword
As the years passed, they all noticed how Jaejoong’s mood shifted. How it went into a downward spiral; how his depression increased with each year added to his age.
And, they all felt so helpless watching it.
And, then one particular sunny afternoon, as they waited for Jaejoong to come home, Rabun asked a question.
“Guys… if you were human, what would you like to do?”
“I’d like to try out that football thing Joongjoong is always raving about.”
“Food. All the food in Jae’s kitchen.”
“Dancing- I’m really interested in Jaejoongie’s upside down triangle dance.”
“Oh! The horizontal one is funny, too!”
“What about you, Rabun?”
“… I’d like to try being Jaejoong’s friend.”
And, just like that, a wish was granted.
