Sheets of paper came flying around a faintly dimmed room. Sounds of frustrations echoed throughout. Faint sounds of footsteps makes their way to the window as the only person in the room stares through it, into nothing. She sighed for the nth time and leans her forehead on the glass window. Tears are slowly falling from her eyes and sobs were also heard. Signs of tiredness were visible on her face. She lifts her hand to look at her finger where a gold band is neatly placed. She tried to smile but failed.

“Where did we go wrong? How come we're not happy anymore? How come I’m not happy anymore? I really tried but I can’t…”

She takes off the ring and looks at the words engraved on it

“I’m sorry. Ten years is enough, I can't do it anymore”

“Mrs. Kim? Is there something wrong?”

She just shook her head and showed her usual fake smile to the person who opened the car for her. “Should I call your-”

“No, no need”

She entered her car and looks at her HOME for the last time. Drips of tears fell once again before she wipes it and turns on the engine.

“Good bye”

“Are you sure about this? We wouldn't do it if you-”

“I have to. She needs it”

“But what about you?”

“10 years ago I made a vow to give her happiness. If this will be her happiness then so be it”

“But Taeng, everything... All those years. Its more than ten years. You will throw it away”

“She will still remember it, right?”

“Taeng”

“... And I will too”

“We’re not sure about that. Once she changes everything even our future will be affected”

“I trust you Soonkyu. Let her do it”

The girl named Soonkyu kneeled in front of the smiling yet grieving woman.

“We all love you Taeng. I admire this. You are the greatest person alive and I will make sure everything will end up for the best”

“Thanks you, Soonkyu. Please do not tell her, ever”

“I won’t”

Door gently closed and a sigh was heard. The person leaning on the wall looks at the new comer expectantly. “It’s time”

“Ms. Tiffany Hwang Miyoung, is it?”

“Yes” and a gulp followed. She looks around the dark place then to the woman in robe in front of her. She feels like she knows this person but not quite put her finger into it.

“You have to sign this paper. It is the symbol of our agreement.”

“A-are you sure this will work?”

“100 percent. Besides we will test it now. You agreed to be our little guinea pig”

“I-I did”

“Now, no matter what you do in the past, will you not regret it?”

“I won’t”

“You are only allowed to bring two objects with you, no more than that”

She clasped on the necklace of hers and the notebook in her hand. “I have them all”

“Well then. We have to give you our last reminders. You are not allowed to talk about the future life of yours or interfere with death. You are not allowed to talk about this agreement of ours and most importantly, you have given up something in return. Something of high importance to you and you chose...” she picks up the paper to see who or what was the sacrifice.

“You sacrifice your future with your... spouse?” she looks at the woman in shock and bit her lip. “Typical divorce story huh? You know what this will mean right?”

“I cannot be with her”

“You haven't read the contract right”

“What?” another person enters the room. “It’s time”

“Well then have a safe trip Ms. Hwang” a wave of good bye was shot to her before her vision slowly turns blurry and she loses consciousness every second. “And please, have no regret”

“We did right, right?”

“We don’t know what's right or wrong anymore, Sooyoung”

“I still can’t believe it. Of all the things she could have sacrificed she chose the one person who sacrificed for her the most”

“How is she?”

“She's asleep”

“So we just wait. Tomorrow, tomorrow is the new future. The new future of Tiffany Hwang and Kim Taeyeon”

This is my second story here, this has been bugging me for quite some time now so I've decided to give it a shot ^^ Do not worry, no stories will be neglected ^^
