You know when so many things have happened at once that when you sit down and try to pin point exactly how you got to where you were, you’re completely stumped because you’ve been through that much that it totally evades your mind and you can’t quite comprehend it?
Well that’s how Hana felt right now, sat in a bullet proof car being driven to her new home with her brother by her side.
Donghae placed his hand on hers “Hana, everything will be okay.”
“Will it?” She responded as she continued to look out the window, she wasn’t convinced that things would ever be okay again.
The agent sat in the passenger seat turned to look at her “Miss Lee, we ensure your safety; we’re already calling in another agent who specializes in Mafia Intel.”
“Another?” She looked over at him “Is that necessary?”
Yixing nodded “Yes. I’m sorry that this is so over whelming but what you saw Miss Lee is important evidence against the mafia.”
“You’re doing a good thing Hana.” Donghae squeezed her hand in encouragement.
Hana looked at Donghae and shook her head “And at what cost? My life?”
“They will come for you regardless.” Yixing said to her.
She returned to staring out of the window, ignoring their presence once more as they continued to take her to her new home.
