You know what, Kyu?

It'll come. The day when our hidden potential will be noticed, just wait and see.

I'm hopeful it'll soon come to us, knocking at our door and we will be ready to run towards it, accepting our fate, shaping it with our bare hands to reach our dreams. I'm sure of it, because no one is perfect at the beginning, no one is happy right away, but everyone can be with a bit of struggles, lots of patience and a disposition to hard work.

Take diamonds for example.

They're one of the most precious gems in the world, but they don't come in the shape we are used to see right from their natural source. They're just common stones, when dug from the mines, and they look extremely like glass. Only through a long process, the thorough work of patient craftsmen, whose lives are devoted to their job, diamonds are cut, cleaned and polished to reach the extraordinary brilliancy they're known for. That's when they increase in value.

We are like two rough diamonds, waiting to be polished and show the world the shining light hidden in the depths of our hearts.

When that will happen, people will be forced to look at us and never ignore the struggles we went through to come into the world, beautiful, bright and sparkling, absolutely not frightened of circumstances, because we can count on each other, on our dreams, on our love.

You're my diamond, Kyu: rough and grumpy. 

Even if now nothing seems to go the way you'd like to, soon you'll realize that my words were true. In the meanwhile, let's lean onto each other and bathe in the light that wraps us all. No matter what, we'll stick together, until the very end...

...because we are diamonds, and nobody turns their back to those who are worth the game.
