Soohyun was born in Hawaii but has lived in California for a while running a photography studio. His staff includes fellow photographer Kiseop, Assistant/model Kevin, and the only female staff, photo editor Sage. Her younger adopted brother Dongho works there part time as well. Soohyun's friend AJ from back home calls him up and hires him to take photos for his friend, Moana, who wants to become a sponsored surfer so the whole studio packs up and heads for Hawaii.

Sage is the type of girl who doesnt really do anything exciting. Not that she doesnt want to, just that it doesnt happen. Her parents even told her to try and have more fun while in Hawaii, even though its a work trip. Even surrounded by her very attractive co-workers, she doesnt have romantic feelings for any of them, much to the disappointment of Kiseop.

Moana wants to become a professional surfer and is in the ocean as long as possible each day. Her friends are AJ, Hoon and Eli. She surfs with Hoon every day and they have been teaching Eli how to surf better as well. AJ has been taking amature photos of them while they surf but he doesnt feel good enough so he hires Sooohyun.
