Summary
A twist to the Little Mermaid, where Ariel has a sister a few months older than the Crowned Princess of Atlantica. The sister is only half Mer, and a lost soul without any real identity beyond the daughter of her mother and the forgotten daughter of her father. Her name is Ulla, and she follows in the steps of her youngest sister to find herself and her place in this world. This is the story of the Illegitimate Princess.
Character's Profile
Ulla: 25, eldest daughter of Triton and only child of Ursula. She grew up practically alone, and isolated; surrounded by magic.
She knows her mother's world, she wishes to know her fathers, and she's in search of her own.
Her closest friend is a giant great white named Glut.
Lee Joon: 27, foreigner who likes to cook. Even though he's been in this new country for a few years, he still has not quite felt that he fits in.
He always carries a bright smile, and happy demeanor even though he has his own abyss he's trying to crawl out of.
Ariel: At 21 she is Queen of the costal land. She is nine months pregnant, but still carries her child like wonder of the world and happy attitude.
Despite her age and childishness, she has a wisdom far beyond her young years and is as regal as any Princess of the Sea and Queen of the land.
Eric: The 23 year old King of the Costal Land. He is kind and understanding, and always attentive to his wife.
He's the kind of person who you can tell your deepest, darkest secret and he would not judge; instead he would go to the end of the Earth and back to help you.
Ursula: Age unknown. She is the Great Sea Witch, and her younger sister is second to that title.
Her evil is known throughout the sea and part of the mainland, but to her daughter, she is just a mother with a selfish love.
Triton: Age unknown. He is King of Atlantica, he is the father to both Ulla and Ariel, as well as Ariel's other sisters.
He loves all is daughters the way he loves his Kingdom, but as his people are his first priority, he can't always be attentive to his daughters; especially one who grew up apart from him.
