A gift that moved my heart~

The heart monitor was beating regularly. “Doctor, isn’t this song a little too disturbing?” The nurse said as she hand the scalpel.

Doctor Kim chuckled as he continued to concentrate on the surgery. “What’s wrong with the song? I like it.” He grabbed the scalpel and looked down at the heart that was beating as the song continues to play. The new song from this girl group call ‘Nation One’ was very captivated. The members' voices were very comforting. “They say that their hearts are beating fast. To a patient who getting heart surgery, isn’t this song the best cheer for him?” He smiled behind the blue mask that was covering half of his face.

Dugeun, Dugeun~

The patient’s eyelids fluttered, but not strong enough to open because of the drug that was currently flowing inside his veins, making him sleep through the surgery. The song echoed inside his head, his heart kept beating along with the melody that seems to cheer for him.

“New rookie idol for this month, we have Nation One’s ‘Dugeun, Dugeun’!” The crowd cheered loudly as the MC introduced the next new band. Banners, balloon and the loud cheered coming from the fans echoed inside the studio. The four members of Nation One continued their performance with passion. But their chanted kept getting louder as the most popular member, Lee Hyukjae, sang his part.

“The first place goes to…” The contestants shifted nervously on the stage as they waited for the MC to announce the winner.

“Nation One’s ‘Dugeun, Dugeun’!” Their fans screamed in delight as the band won for the first time since their debut a few weeks ago. The members gasped in shocked and burst into tears. The MC handed the award to the members. The fan chanted loudly as the members cried out of happiness.

Hyukjae grabbed the microphone and wiped his tears away. He took a deep breath and smiled brightly at their fans. “I’m so thankful to Nation One’s fans who give us so much love.” He bowed his head slightly, feeling the tears glistening in his eyes.

“We will work hard and not disappoint you. From now on, you all will continue to give us your love, right?”

“YES!” all the fans answered. Hyukjae laughed happily with the members. “Thank you!” Four of them bowed as their fans chanted their names loudly.

Because of their passion and their hard work, all their training were worthy since they now had became the national’s band who received so much loved from their fans.
